The Dedicated House

Hello World and Welcome! Thank you for stopping by The Dedicated House. This is a completely new adventure for me and I look forward to walking it with you. I currently am a stay-at-home mommy to a very feisty (she probably inherited it from her red headed mommy) 7 year old daughter as well as a voice teacher. I became a first time mom at the ripe age of 41. Completely all God's doing! I have a wonderful husband who works hard so that I can stay home with the little one.

In my pre forty life, I was a professional opera singer and voice teacher until the darling daughter came along. Now I spend my days taking care of her, teaching private voice lessons and painting just about anything that I can get my hands on. I'm in love with the blue, white, and beige combination and currently am changing the entire color scheme of my house. Some rooms are almost complete while others are in a state of utter confusion. So, enjoy looking at the hodge podge that is our home!
