About Rochester Secondary College
Rochester Secondary College offers a comprehensive and innovative curriculum to all students 7 -12 allowing them to pursue pathways into further study, training, apprenticeships and employment. The College has a proud record of successful access to each of these areas.

The College offers extra curricula programs ranging from the performing arts, instrumental musical tuition to a well-supported camps and subject based excursions program that complements the total curriculum offering. The College has a strong record of achievement in debating and public speaking competitions locally and across the state.
A long standing and successful Work Experience program operates at the College with the focus on local work experience at Year 10, extending to a Melbourne based program the following year.
Student support features significantly at the College with successful Peer Support and Pastoral Care Programs operating. In addition, the College provides literacy and numeracy support for students.
In the sporting arena, Rochester Secondary College stands out amongst its peers. A tradition of sporting achievement in all disciplines has earned it a deserved reputation for sporting success. All students are encouraged to participate in a range of sporting pursuits and the focus on skills as well as enjoyment is paramount.
Through collaboration with our partner primary schools a seamless transition program for junior students to secondary education has been established. Such partnerships have facilitated a range of programs offering, amongst other things, valuable professional development opportunities for all.
