যাকাত

যাকাত একটি ফরজ এবাদাত।
মাহে রমজান আমাদের মাঝ থেকে বিদায়ের পথে। অনেকেই এই মাসে তাদের যাকাত আদায় করে থাকে। জাকাত নিয়ে স্বল্প পরিসরে কয়েকটি কথা, হয়তো কারো কাজে লাগতে পারে

নির্ধারিত পরিমান সম্পদের মালিক হয়ে থাকলে যাকাত ফরজ হয়।কারো নিকট সাড়ে সাত ভরি (৮৫ গ্রাম) স্বর্ণ বা ৫২ তোলা রুপা বা ন্যুনতম তার সম পরিমান অর্থ এক বছর কাল যাবত থাকলে তার উপর যাকাত দেয়া ফরজ। বর্তমান বাজার মুল্যে ৫২ তোলা রুপার সম পরিমান অর্থ আনুমানিক ৩৩০০০ টাকা। অর্থাত এই পরিমান টাকা থাকলে তার উপর যাকাত দেয়া ফরজ। যাকাত যোগ্য সম্পদের উপর 2.5% হারে যাকাত দিতে হয়।

সম্পদের যথাযথ হিসাব করে যাকাত দিতে হবে। আনুমানিক থোক বরাদ্দের মত আন্দাজে একটি পরিমান নির্ধারন করা ঠিক নয়।

সাড়ে সাত ভরির কম সোনা থাকলে তার উপর কোন যাকাত নাই। সাড়ে সাত ভরির বেশি স্বর্ণ থাকলে পুরো পরিমানের উপর যাকাত দিতে হবে। অর্থাত দশ ভরি স্বর্ণ থাকলে দশ ভরির বিক্রয় মুল্যের উপর শতকরা আড়াই পার্সেন্ট হারে যাকাত দিতে হবে। তেমনি রুপার ক্ষেত্রেও বিষয়টি একই রকম হবে। Zakat is a compulsory ebadata.
