CoCoRaHS Observer

This is an indispensable app if you're a CoCoRaHS observer with an Android phone.

Very useful to send reports quickly as a CoCoRaHS observer. I enjoy it and use it a lot. In a future enhancement, you guys should add precipitation start and end times. Thank you for providing this app!

Works great....I use it daily. It's much faster than firing up a computer for the daily report. As a coordinator for my county, I'd like to see a few more features.... but for what it is, it's fantastic.

Pretty good, but I liked the feature in an older version that prompted you if you tried to save a report for a later time than the current time. Why did you take that out? I'm constantly having to go to the Cocorahs website and update my report to the correct time. Very annoying.

Love the app but lately it seems like I have to close it after each use. Otherwise the next day it will freeze on "fetching history"

Best good app

Good app, but very annoying that the remember login feature always results in a password error, then I need to re-authenticate with LastPass to force it to repopulate the password. I've tried turning on and off remember login (trying to get it to forget the wrong credentials), no effect.

I appreciate this app very much. I too continue to have the spinning getting history when I open the app. My work around is to go to Settings/Apps/Force Stop/Close. I have to do this every day, but it does work.

Anyone who is getting the spinning arrow when trying to open the app, here's a work around that I use and works. Go into the Google play Store, select your apps, choose the app and open from there. Works every time. Hopefully it will be corrected soon.

This is a great way to make daily reports. The device responds to email and continues to add features.

Quite often the app gets stuck on fetching the history rendering the app unusable.

The update continues to have problems crashing. The Trace of snow issue has been fixed

If you click on Trace of snow, accum liquid precip then defaults to trace of liquid precip. So rain mixed with trace of snow is NOT allowed with latest version. Please fix.

there needs to be an option to input multi day precip

When I open it on the login screen, it just hangs and says "Fetching History". I can't do anything and I don't see how it could be fetching anything since I'm not logged in.

In the short time that I have been using this app I can say that it is very consistent and accurate. I hope that additional features will come along, like adding a Menu, or additional screen, for a link to show the Observer Report History page. Otherwise it definitely does what it is designed to do. I really like the new user interface. Thanks!

Csnt edit report if entered incorrectly but other than that great app. No link for forgotten username or password which ive done

Good clean interface that does the basics.

Can you add the snow entry box to the initial screen that comes up? Also a check box for trace of snow just like precipitation.? Also why can't we edit previously sent reports? When I try I get an error.

Very good design and functionality to allow basic reporting. If you plan to add more features, display of historic data without first making an entry and maybe a map showing the current day's reports.

One now has to exit app to enter in multiple days. What happened to the menu button??

Does what it needs to do and does it well. Much more convenient reporting right from the rain gauge. My only complaint is that I can't view my past reports unless I am entering a new report. Being able to show other folks what we're doing would get them interested in joining cocorahs. Please consider adding that capability! Thanks for a great app.

This is a great way to make reports. For those who can't find the HISTORY, press and hold the button for switching apps until the menu appears, then tap History. (That's your Android top of the day. It works in other apps, too! Even the Play Store. Try it!)

Snow amounts? This App would be much better if when I enter my data, it shows as if I am reporting on snow amounts! I live in the US Virgin Islands, the Caribbean, for goodness sake!!! I cannot report rain!

The best thing about this app is one can enter the results right at the rain gauge.

It would be nice to be able to input multiple observations in one day, for morning and evening rains. It would also be cool to be able to check the log of past observations without entering an observation.
