Groove3 Player

Very basic app, with so many other streaming services that allow offline viewing it's a shame you need a constant network connection. I had hoped to be able to view content while travelling to work for which I use the Tube/metro system where I don't have any signal. But also other parts of my journey over ground were we reception is bad.

The app itself is lacking a usable interface. Why do i have to favorite each video individually on it's video page? Why can't I filter all of what I've purchased? The video player reaks of android doughnut. This app needs attention. If it wasn't for the great tutorials I'd rate a 1 star...

With so much free content on the web, I was hesitant at first to purchase an annual pass. I learned more about Pro Tools in the first week of watching these tutorials than I did in the three years on my own. You have seasoned veterans showing you their tricks. It's almost like you're working over their shoulder at the studio except you get to rewind and review things until you understand. Interface is pretty smooth. One suggestion: have a continuous play option when watching a video series (like Netflix).

The videos are decent and well produced. However, you can tell that the app was not professionally created. I am assuming that they paid very little to get this app up and running. Seems like it was produced by someone still learning how to create apps. UI is bad. It doesn't sync with their computer based software. For example, I have several favorites on the computer version and they don't show up anywhere on the app. Can't use Google cast to send to TV. Can't start a video on one device and finish on another. Like I said this isn't a review of the videos, just a review on the application. Poorly written code without anything special. Don't expect it to be anything like the Lyndadottcom app.

But this app needs to have the capability to be displayed via tv from iPad and or Android devices cause if I been at work all day and I want to study from bed who wants to watch on iPad and or cell phone

Works well on my tablet and phone!

The screen is really dim and the search does not find videos in the library. I put the screen brightness all the way up on my device and it is still really dark.

The app does not pay attention to the Samsung S5 brightness and is too dark to see, especially on tutorials that have a lot of black in them.

Every time I'm thinking of buying annual access to Groove3 which is awesome service, I'm installing this app on my phone (HTC m8) and trying to play sample video to see how it could be... Never happened so far, error occurred every time. Please fix it then I'll fix my rating.

Only get a "responce from server was empty" message everytime.

Confirmed to work on HTC One, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10. So much smoother than the web player. Loads fast and does not glitch, good job Groove! Add support for full screen playback on 10" tablets and this will be 5 stars. I would also add that certain videos play back full screen on 7" Nexus, but there may be some that do not.

An awesome app ! I can now access my videos from my Nexus 7 tablet.. Yessss ! ! !

It's too bad it doesn't automatically move to the next video. Other than that the app functions well on an LG G2.

Great app, now just needs Chromecast support... :)

I'm a sound engineer & composer working in game development and this tutorial website is fantastic! Has helped me to gain a better foundation in what I work with (Logic/Maschine/ProTools) and what I will work with in the future. The fact the site has an APP! Where I can watch these when travelling is awesome! They're great in-depth, well spoken tutorials too! Perfect for someone who jus wants to know what's true! Great helpful team too, quick response and friendly. Thanks guys, keep it up!

Very handy app for watching videos when I'm in hospital. Also great to have this at my side whilst working on the Mac. Great to see apps that have an actual use are being made. Well done!!

Very happy to see this app come out. I've really sharpened up some of my favorite skills from the courses I've purchased from Groove3 and it's just great that they can now be with me wherever I go.That's just really huge. The UI is simple and intuitive just like a tablet app UI ought to be. Seems to be a very stable initial release. I have over 200 apps on my Nexus7 but only about a dozen or so that I consider indispensable. This app immediately found a place on that top shelf of gems. Nice job Groove3! (now if only TrueFire would follow suit...)

This little app works great on my HTC One SV except that View by Category just goes from the list of categories straight to the top of the list of products instead of showing the category chosen. Reported and waiting for a fix.

Getting ready for road trip..can pack up the computer and use my tablet. Performs so much better on 4g.

Flawless streaming, though I can't seem to get them full screen on the Nexus 7. Also I will give you a million stars if you can add ChromeCast integration!
