Default App Manager Pro

When it works, it works well. But periodically, the defaults will simply disappear. I have the Pro version and after getting frustrated, I emailed the company. The email was returned undeliverable. The website is down, too. I'm guessing they're out of business. So I recommend you don't spend the money.

The only tool for doing what it does that actually works on Google Play that I could find. UPDATE: However, it does drop the set default's & you will have to reset them. Author needs to address this right away because it gets pretty pesky having to reset your selections over & over. I think but not sure, that the issue appears after a restart. App needs to LOCK your choice unless you change it yourself. 5 Stars. Worth the price to get control & get rid of the FLASHING ads in your face from the free version.

Purchased because I am unable to make Nova or google default launcher for honor 4x. But strangely enough it's just stuck on download bar loop. Tried the free lite version, although it downloaded but it wasn't able to fix the problem. Another thing that sucks, you can't get a refund because I tried uninstalling and reinstalling after a reboot. Hopefully it works with other higher end brands, which I believe don't actually need these apps.

A must have. Especially handy when you want to assign or clear defaults for several apps because you have the whole list of default apps right in front of you, instead of having to go into settings /applications/application manager, scrolling to the app, selecting it, making your change and repeating all that for each individual app.

Won't allow me to assign appropriate app for Office Docs or clear the default of printing

It does not work at all on my new GS7 edge. Uninstalled, reinstalled, still does not work. Fix it or refund my money please!!! Haha

I installed this on my new tablet. It put a message in my calendar without any input from me to rate the app. WTF.

I am almost certain that this Paid pro version works but in a different way to what it is supposed to unlock? I feel that the pro version gets rid of those annoying Game adds on the Playstore when you change the default app settings. So in essence it only gets rid of those adds. So maybe leave more fair reviews haha xD my guess is they decided to incorporate the Uninstaller option into the free version. So you pay to support the development and get rid of adds. Sadly wasn't updated since 2012 !

I downloaded the pro version but it seems to act like it's only polite. I don't know what to do or look for to make sure it is 40 but there's only three categories and you can set the default for the default clear out apps thats about it that I see it so I'm thinking it has to me the Lite version. Because if this is the pro version it is absolutely not worth the money.

Default App manager created a "Rate Default App Manager" event in my calendar. Who the Hell gives you such a right? I've paid for such harassment?

It seems that some defaults are inaccessible to this utility. So you will still be asked to press the Always button from time to time. By the way, the Calendar entry is only intended to connect the utility to the calendar default. Just Cancel the entry and you won't have anything to get apoplectic about.

I purchased the Pro version of this app because It did/does exactly what I need plus all rhe research I did indicated that the app did what was expected and seemed not quite "easy" but consistant in it's use. Now.. From within less than 3 seconds of my puchase I've been having the sametwo issues.(1)the app was downloaded AND installed and tthe Buy button changed BEFORE I had tapped the floating purchase button. From then on jjust the same two problems. First time I ran the app and tapped te menu button a little tab button appeared with Buy DAMPro. When I tapped it it took me back tothe Play store which read Installed. Second issue was that I couldn'tdo much with it becauseI was concerned that it was only half registered nnd making changes like it being the default app manager would damage something. I also learned that on android you can't set an app to the default when there was no current default app. So now I've got Play back as the default andI've uni/reinstalled DAMPro a number of times and it doesn't even show up in the "trash" bed room. So I'm wondering if that's due tto the purchase issue..which I did email them about immediately and my email was bounced.

Once I've selected a default app tapping clear does not do anything. And if I try to select another app to be the default that doesn't work either.

The free and pro versions picked a few apps for defaulting, but they were already the default. Their email address and website url go to a 'server not found' message so I could not get help..

Handy app and ui easy to navigate.... Just wondering if any way to replace the device download manager with a 3rd party one as default?

I have all of my defaults set. Open files faster because you don't have to select the app every time.

I need option to browse for application in specific category, because iGO navigation is not detected for maps, and eBook files could be easily handled with kingsoft office. Good app though.

Great App..I'm just finding out a lot of the hidden settings for Android,like clipboard,where are my previous 100 clippings?I can only paste 1,the most recent... Well similarly,this App shows you what you can't always see,or know,if you happen to have forgotten..It saves so much time hunting & scrolling for your default Apps.. 5***** ALL DAY

First off I have rooted Samsung Galaxy note 3 with a more or less stock rom. This app doesn't preform as advertised meaning that most of the default app choices do not stay as the default app.

Very annoying. This app creates reminders via calendar and Google to get a rating. Wish I had stayed with the lite version.
