Default App Manager is a simple yet very functional app to manage (set defaults, clear/reset defaults) default applications for different types of actions that Android does. Unlike other applications that allow you to manage defaults for only one-two types of categories, this app allows to you to manage for almost all the common actions.
It eliminates all the hassles and troubles of remembering defaults set for various applications such as Audio, Video, E-mail, Doc Viewer, etc. It is very handy for active Android lovers who use a wide range of applications for any particular category and keep changing them from the default Android settings.

PLEASE READ THE BELOW INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING:
1. To set the default application, please check the 'USE BY DEFAULT ICON' and only then select the application. Otherwise, the application WILL NOT BE set as the default one.
2. Once the default app is SET, the application will open. It might however open with some error-message like 'FILE CANNOT BE OPENED' or 'ERROR WHILE OPENING FILE'. Don't worry, the application is SET as default successfully. You can verify by clicking BACK BUTTON on that application and going back to Default App Manager.

Trash, literally has full screen video ads that last 30 seconds with sound every time you click something. Never seen an app this disgusting, uninstalled within 5 minutes.

Seems incredible but i didn't find any application that let me choose Tweetings or Falcon as default for posting tweets from newsreaders. This one fails too.

This app used to be pretty good. Once you set the default app, it's done. Now, when an app updates, you have to reset the default app again and the full page ad gets very annoying.

Just a few taps and you can change the default application. This was a hassle in android 6.0. No more apparently. Thanks!

This app errors out every time I try to change a default, but it would allow me to make the change. That was before the 7.0 nougat update. Now it crashes and locks up.

Only thing is it doesn't seem to update the new audio default. Works for all other categories.

Be wary that this app can read ALL your contacts by default. Breach of privacy for sure. Either disable that permission or more likely uninstall or do not install. App cannot be trusted regardless of how many have installed it.

Very nice. I just might have to upgrade to Pro. The basic version did exactly what I needed, and I can only imagine how much better the Pro version is. EASY to use as well. Great menus and straight forward screens to accomplish what you are trying to do. Thx

Select category->audio streaming. Opera is set (God knows why). App can change nothing. No matter what you tap or long press nothing ever changes. True for all apps and associations. All the app does well is frustrate & annoy users and waste drive space ... a perfect prerequisite (demo) for employment at microsoft, but not for real software design.

Main reason I wanted this is even after root of note 4 and custom ROM, I am not able to change the default camera. I've set it to Google camera and the actions to quickly access camera still bring up the stock crappy Sammy camera. Dang, had high hopes.

Requires sensitive permissions, and does not work (chrome still opens pdf documents in drive pdf viewer despite changed default pdf viewer to mupdf)

Does not let me choose between all the apps installed. It only gives certain options. For example. For messaging I prefer to use the app called trillion. But it will not show up to choose as an option in this app.

This app is the only way I've found to stop email links opening by default in the awful Android browser embedded in my Lenovo Yoga 8 tablet. They now open in Chrome, which is what I want. I'll be delighted if the app continues to work reliably.
