Golf Frontier GPS is a premium golf application for your Android device. So much more than a golf GPS rangefinder, in addition to knowing the distance to the green and hazards from anywhere on the course, you can use the application to track scores for your group, record your statistics, and calculate your golf handicap. It's the only golf app you will ever need!
5 course downloads are provided with the app for free to test drive the application. To receive unlimited downloads, the applications must be unlocked (which can be done directly from the app home screen).
Over 30,000 golf courses are currently available for download and more are being added every day (visit http://www.golffrontier.com/GPSCourseMaps.aspx for a list of currently mapped courses). If your course is not already listed in the directory, then you can either create a map for the course online at http://www.golffrontier.com using our powerful online editing tools, or send us an email and we will map it for you. Golf Frontier Features Include:
- Easy to understand and read view of all targets for the current hole with Carry and/or Reach distances clearly specified.
- Enhanced Map view with detailed overlay information. Distance arcs placed at 100, 150 and 200 yards/meters. Maps are rotated to show the green at the top of the screen (Please note that map view requires an active data connection).
- Painlessly get accurate approach and layup distances to and from any location
- Track your score, number of putts, fairways and greens in regulation.

I was hoping that this app wasn't.good but.Unfortunately it prove me worng the designer or designers that created this really put some thought into it. Is very user friendly. The app works great I love the stats layout.very accurate distance. Lets be real no gps is going to be spot on. But the accuracy is 2-3 yards off, to be expected. There are 3 other apps out there like this one the only fault is stats for distance of putt made it doesn't give a summary of it after the round has ended. But fantastic job.

Painstakingly taken 3 days to map my home course Saujana G&CC, added score cards (blue, red tee box) download repeatedly to test. Hit trial download limit, can't continue, did not even get to use my new map. Revenue should be generated from other means like ads in app, restricting advance feature etc. Anyway, the mapping program is awesome, I had fun adding features to my course.. since I can't use it, bye and good luck! How can I delete my map and score card?!

I like the fact that I can flip through and get pretty accurate yardage to the hazards. I have checked it against a handheld device, and this app is usually within a couple of yards of the Bushnell readings.

Could you adapt this app so we can see it in a panoramic view in tablet devices?. I got the pro version and have had the app installed in my Samsung S4 without any problems but once I tried it in my tablet Galaxy S device I could not use it in a panoramic view and that is very unconfortable. By the other hand I tried to attach my Rsi1 TaylorMade Irons but these clubs does not appear in the list inside the app. Thanks

So they added my course for me to test out. This app is great in many ways but just lacking the tracking features. The only things missing are club tracking and adding custom clubs. I just want simple club tracking as in knowing my 1W hits an average of 275 yards. This app requires the exact club and doesn't calculate averages or even the distance without your imput. And you can't imput distances during a match(which makes this fuction useless). Otherwise this is a great app for distance to hole and map views.

Map is not updated. I was so excited with this app since there are many features that not included to many apps. However I just realized that their map is not upto date. I play at Redwood canyon and poplar creek in Northern California and both maps are not correct. Looking forward for the updated maps and see how this app works.
