نشأة الكلية
تم تأسيس الكلية بموجب قرار المجلس الأعلى للقوى العاملة رقم 4/ق/1412هـ المورخ في 3/5/1413 هـ، وهي تتبع الإدارة العامة للخدمات الطبية للقوات المسلحة، تطبق الكلية أنظمة وتعليمات وزارة التعليم العالي، وقد غير مسمى ( الكلية الصحية العسكرية المتوسطة بالظهران ) إلــــــــــــى (كلية الأمير سلطان العسكرية للعلوم الصحية بالظهران) بقرار رقم 9/9/44852 وتاريخ 2/7/ 1425هـ .
وقد تفضل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير / سلطان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود ولي العهد نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الدفاع والطيران والمفتش العام بافتتاح الكلية في السادس عشر من شهر صفر لعام 1409هـ الموافق 27 سبتمبر 1988م.كما وحصلت الكلية على موافقة خادم الحرمين الشريفين التوجيه البرقي رقم 7/ب /18977 وتاريخ 13/4/1425هـ برفع مستوى الكلية لتمنح درجة البكالوريوس.

مهمة الكلية
إن المهمة الأساسية للكلية هي إعداد وتأهيل طلاب وطالبات الكلية في مراحل الماجستير والبكالوريوس و الدبلوم تأهيلاً علمياً ومهنياً في عدد من التخصصات الصحية، هذا بالإضافة إلى الإسهام بفعالية في تدريب منسوبي الخدمات الطبية من مدنيين وعسكريين في المجالات الفنية والطبية نظرياً وعملياً مع مراعاة تطبيق أعلى درجات الجودة وتحسين الأداء وذلك من أجل تلبية متطلبات التوسع الكمي والنوعي المتنامي للخدمات الطبية للقوات المسلحة.

تأهيل كوادر صحية ذات قدرة تنافسية عالية لسد حاجة المجالات الصحية وتلبية احتياجات المجتمع وتقديم اسهامات بحثية علمية ومهنية مميزة.

التخصصات المتوفرة للطلاب:
بكالوريوس علوم المختبرات الإكلينيكية / بكالوريوس عناية تنفسية / بكالوريوس تقنية طب الطوارئ / بكالوريوس تقنية تخدير / دبلوم تقنية الأجهزة الطبية.

التخصصات المتوفرة للطالبات:
بكالوريوس تمريض / بكالوريوس علوم المختبرات الإكلينيكية / بكالوريوس تقنية التخدير/ بكالوريوس العناية التنفسية/ بكالوريوس مساعد طبيب أسنان.

مدة الدراسة في الكلية
الدبلوم سنتان ونصف إضافة إلى ستة أشهر فترة امتياز
البكالوريوس مدتها أربع سنـــوات إضافة إلى ســنة فترة امــتياز في أحـــد المستشفيات
الماجستير مدتها سنتين دراسية إضافة إلى سنة فترة امتياز

شروط القبول في الكلية
(1) أن يكون المتقدم سعودي الأصل والمنشأ.
(2) أن يكون حاصلاً على الثانوية العامة (قسم العلوم الطبيعية) بمعدل تراكمي لا يقل عن (85 %).
(3) أن يكون حاصلاً على درجة (70 %) في القدرات العامة و (65 %) في التحصيل الدراسي كحد أدنى.
(4) أن لا يكون قد مضى على حصوله على الثانوية العامة أكثر من ثلاث سنوات مع إعطاء الأولوية لخريجي العام الحالي.
(5) أن لا يزيد عمر المتقدم على (23 عاما) عند تقديم الطلب.
(6) أن يكون متفرغا للدراسة.
(7) أن يجتاز الطالب الفحص الطبي.
(8) أن لا يكون قد سبق فصله من الكلية لأسباب أكاديمية أو تأديبية أو لأسباب تأديبية من أي جامعة أو كلية أخرى.
(9) الحصول على الموافقة الخطية من ولي أمر الطالبة. The emergence of the college

College mission
The core mission of the college is to prepare and qualify college students and students in master's and bachelor's stages and diploma qualified academically and professionally in a number of health disciplines, in addition to effectively contribute to the training of employees of the medical services of civilians and military personnel in technical and medical theory and practice areas, taking into account the application of the highest quality and improve performance in order to meet the growing quantitative and qualitative expansion of medical services of the armed forces requirements.

Specializations available to students:
Bachelor of Clinical Laboratory / BS respiratory care / Bachelor of emergency / Bachelor of Medicine anesthesia Technology / Medical Device Technology Diploma technique.

Bachelor of Nursing / Bachelor of Clinical Laboratory / Bachelor of Science Technology Anesthesia / Respiratory Care BS / BA Assistant dentist.

Duration of study in college
Diploma of two years and a half in addition to the six-month period franchise
Bachelor of four years in addition to a year concession period in a hospital
Master's two-year study in addition to the year concession period
 
Admission to the College Terms
(1) The applicant should be a Saudi origin and origin.
(2) Must have a high school (Department of Natural Sciences) cumulative average of at least (85%).
(3) Must have a degree (70%) in the public and capacity (65%) in academic achievement at a minimum.
(4) it should not have been on receiving a high school more than three years with priority given to graduates of the current year.
(5) The applicant should not be over the age of 23, when submitting the application.
(6) to be a full-time study.
(7) To pass the medical examination student.
(8) it should not have been dismissed from the college for academic or disciplinary reasons or disciplinary reasons than any other university or college.
