DroneVR+ FPV for DJI Drones

Can't see a way for the app to keep the screen on. So have to manually deactivate screen timeout. Very annoying

I'm not to happy with this app. I did the free trial and it worked but when I downloaded it it didn't work .so do I get a refund or you all send me a free download

Very good and reliable fpv app

Paid for it after many reviews on Mavic site and find on Galaxsy S5 that everything works but the VIDEO. Its useless without video and ive tried everything in settings to get video feed from my mavic. I get all the telemetry data just no video. Worst is I cant even gey a refund as its in app purchase. Just a big con.

After payment made only able to continue use. Is only one con I think which is when the drone is too far and lost signal, the app will automatic quit too, this should not happen and it suppose try to reconnect back, and not just quit application. I m using s6edge

Due the three reports of constant app crashes, no failsafe controls to assure safe RTH or Auto Landing features, for my P3 Pro, I'll have to decline putting my drone in this apps Hands. Sounds like more developmental work is needed.

Just Amazing! Worked flawlessly with my Phantom 3 Standard and Gear VR/Galaxy S6. I wish the view was wider, but that can be overlooked due to the great video feed. Looking through my VR it feels more like sitting in a theatre rather than in the cockpit. OverallI have had zero issues, just know how to manually operate your drone because many of the failsafe DJI features are absent. Good job devs!

Why say it's free when you have to pay to use it regularly. Greedy company this app will cease to exist soon

Bought the app and it fails to connect....i am frustrated!!! Can anybody help me please by responding and tell me the precise steps to take to connect..i havd the phantom3 pro

The app work very well on my galaxy A7 2017, with my mavic pro. Please can put some failsafe, and warning signal. example the obtacle avoidance ,sport mode warning. Thanks

I paid $10 for this stupid app and it doesn't even work. Will not connect to my drone. Demand a REFUND!

Im the same as others. I just cant get it to connect. I went to their help section online did as said but nothing. Im using mavic pro, samsung s7 and vr. Seems people love it if you can get it to connect.

Drone: DJI P4 Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note 5 NOT working, even after I paid for the app. I've done all the trouble shooting steps (restarted apps, cell phone, drone, remote etc.) but I still can't get your app to connect with my Drone to work. If you are not going to fix it may I have my money back?

Wouldn't work on my Samsung s5. Installed it on my s7, used all trials with non connections. Bought it, then continues to ask me to purchase it. WTF? Help me fix it and I will revise this review.

Works well. You just have to do it in this order 1st Turn on remote 2nd turn on drone 3rd find drone on wifi and conect to it 4th open app and conect then press fly..... and it works

Absolutely terrible. Paid for the p3s and it barely even works, took 20min to connect and then kept shutting down. No failsafe features makes this a complete waste of money

Useless a lot of video delay I'm using P3 standard w/ Samsung 6 edge plus ,really disappointed . Not worth the money I spent on it .

It says in app purchase but it's right off the bat. 9.99 to use it on dji phantom 3. That sucks

Used to work ok with P3P, but I recently purchased the app for the P4P and now neither gets any video feed to my Galaxy S5. Oh well.

Update: This review is after a few month back. Pros: 1) Still the best VR FPV experience of all Android/iOS apps (for DJI drones). Great field of vision. 2) Exceptional arrangement of information. Get essential information easily and no sacrifice of FOV. Some problem still exists: 1) No distance information. 2) No RC facing information. 3) No Drone facing information too. 4) No map. Yep, you need to memorize where you came from. 5) No C1/C2 buttons support. 6) Need to purchase for each drone model (unbelievable).

Works perfect... Dji P3S using LG V20. Canada testing after Christmas has been a struggle with the weather.... Not the app. Minus 20 celcius conditions and it works great. Again.... Thank you.

I haven't had a proper fly with it yet but so far so good. Connected straight away to the Phantom 3 adv. For those of you who are not able to connect make sure to turn the controller on. Then the drone. Then plug the usb in after. Don't plug it in before. Will wait and see how it goes on a 5 minute test flight tomorrow EDIT: After flying with it, I have purchased the phantom 3 advanced unlock. It works great. Could do with a few things though. The ability to choose between channels for the connection and the ability to have the smart return to home function on the screen. So you know when you need to return home due to battery. or so it automatically returns to home when it reaches a limit that it needs to get home. Otherwise, perfect.

This was my very first attempt at VR FPV using a Phantom 4, VR ONE headset and a Galaxy s5 (the tray that was in the headset). I am currently loading it onto my s7 edge, after verifying connection with the controller and drone. It was amazing. It was like I was driving the drone sitting in the camera. The picture was awesome and it worked flawlessly .Well worth the few pennies to install such a great application.

I haven't flown yet but camera feedback to headset was amazing. For 9.99 this is a steal. I used GearVR but did not plug in USB port so Oculus didn't take over. Took 4 minutes to figure that out but using DJI Go the first time was about an hour to get working. Awesome job.

This is crazy. Dji Phantom 3 Standard. Works perfect. Low latency and all. Camera pitch with head up/down. You need to be bought by dji for millions. Their app should have this integrated since you've proven it's possible. FPV is fantastic!! Best 10$ spent on drone so far. Need pic/rec function built in somehow for standard then it'll be perfect.
