About Name Learner for teachers

Name Learner makes it easy for teachers and other users to learn names of people quickly. You simply add the names of the students along with their pictures, which can be imported from Dropbox, selected from your device or taken directly from the camera.

A great way to have staff learn the names of students quickly, or have easy access to students, who can be arranged by grade level, homeroom or any other grouping you prefer.

A quiz feature allows you to test your name knowledge by offering four possible names for each student.

The app is completely free. You will also find links to other apps for teachers that I offer as well.

Key features

This app can be useful but unfortunately it takes up space on my internal storage and cannot be moved to external storage. I am very sad but for this reason I must uninstall.

I would give this a 5 if could import my set lists by .csv. Easy if you have a google classroom account, but I don't.

Email excellent

Nice that it is possible to import pictures and names! There is only one, very easy quiz though. Would be nice with other ones for example one name to match with many pictures or memory with names and pictures. I also think the device should remember my wrongs and makes them coming more often.

After taking photos with my camera they are not important.

K70%

Great free app for learning my colleagues names (I don't have students but I'm new at a big organization so I have lots of new colleagues). I was super impressed with the developer who took some of my emailed suggestions and updated the app!

L70%
by L####:

It is the most wonderful app I've ever known for a teacher. I was looking forward to use this one.

C70%
by C####:

When I put photos on my device in the directory specified in the instructions, I get the error "no files or directories." When I try to import photos via DropBox, the app crashes and quits.
