Back Button (No root)

I recently bought a Verizon Samsung S6 on Ebay for half what I would have paid brand new which is great but the back soft key for some reason doesn't work. 100 android forums later and there is no option but to get a refund and buy a new phone. This app saved me the hassle although it's pretty annoying the soft key doesn't work. Apparently this is a huge problem with the S6. Buyer beware.

My back button stopped working many months ago. I thought I was going to have to buy a new phone until I found this awesome little application. Thank you so much for making this! Please make a menu button one as well because my menu button also malfunctions time to time

My navigation keys stopped working a few days ago, the only way for me to get out of apps was to restart my phone(which got old very fast). I thought to myself there has to be an app for this kind of problem, and boom I find this one. Thank you!!

The buttons disappear once you tapped it, should have a delay option or if you can make unlimited tap on BACK button this app could be perfect. Kudos!

Five minutes of use - awesome. I used to have problems in locating the 'back' and 'recent' buttons in a darkened setting, not now (a 'home' and 'navigation' too - all optional). Operation settings for button layout, display, and presentation are exceptional. Definitely a Five-Star app.

Screen on my cell phone was cracked when it was dropped. The home and back buttons no longer worked! I had no idea how much I used or needed the back button until, I couldn't use it! Thanks to my daughter installing this app I don't have to buy another expensive cell phone!

I cracked my phone screen from bottom to make it worse to use without navigation keys. Found this app and saved hell lot of money repairing my screen. Loved it. Awesome.

Dropped my phone and broke my back and recent apps buttons. This was the perfect replacement. Love the iconify feature so I can keep it out of the way when I don't need it and so I can keep the buttons nice and big.

Really annoying! I have to enable it every time I don't use my phone for some time! Please fix it so we have an option of making sure it is on all the time.

Does the job perfectly, the back button on my nexus 6 was hard to reach with the device being so large, a small transparent button on the right of the screen works perfectly, and also disappears when watching a video. Excellent

I have an Amazon Fire Phone and it just randomly disappears. Constantly having to restart it. Great concept though for Amazon fire because instead of having to swipe up for back you get a floating button.

It does what is says, with great customizations. Only downisde I found is that the buttons cannot be spaced individually. They are stacked together. If that option is provided then it's a complete package. I wanted only the back and recent button at different end of the screen, but that cannot be done. Hope they include the option in further updates.

I don't usually write reviews like this but right now, I felt like I really need to write one to thank the creator/s of this app. My phone screen had a crack and now, all of the three buttons on the lower part of the phone are not functioning anymore. This app helped me a lot. Thank you!

I needed to add a soft back and menu button to my screen, because a bug in Xposed framework had frozen mine. Got me through the day just fine, until I could fix the problem (uninstall + install Xposed again). I'll keep it on my phone, just in case. But disabled. Great app!

It gets disabled while playing games. Otherwise, it's great. Still have lovers like me would rate this with just one star as it doesn't meet the expectation. I would suggest you guys to with on this issue then can expect give stars for sure. Good luck guys...

It would be nice if the menu can be swiped from left or right. But still a great life saver. My phone's navigation keys doesn't respond properly some times. This helps a lot. A BIG THANK YOU to the developer ☺

I have a super locked down embedded android device (BX6000) that doesn't even have volume or nav keys (not even a touch screen!) and the only remnants of Android is the settings application (and that's hidden from the user and only accessible with a workaround) so this lets me mess around with it and install new programs with just an OTG mouse. Awesome application!

I dropped my phone in water and the soft keys stopped working. Getting it fixed isn't an option right now but this app is a life saver. It's the least invasive and most user friendly one out there and it has all kinds of custom settings. Great find.

I don't like the way it change position when keyboard appear. It annoys me as hell !!! it's difficult for me to use my tablet with one hand everytime i use facebook, coz facebook always focus on comment and keyboard appears, then I want to press Backbutton to hide it, but It does not stay where I place it.........Its been fixed.

I can use it on everything except my games. Bummer but still a great app. I cracked my screen and my bottom home and back button no longer work, so this app saved me from having to buy a new phone!

Due to my eyes being sensitive to bright background, I need to turn on negative tendering for reading news o browser. On Samsung phones I turn on assistive shortcut that toggles negative rendering on quick triple press of home button. Imagine what it'd have done to my physical button. This app saved the button and is much better than the assistive menu which is intrusive with its size and moves around. Strongly recommend this app!

It's good at what it does but does not seem to be able to stay on the top of most apps. Which means I can't get it to work when trying to go back in an app or wishing to go back to the home screen. :(

Works well as a button in a usability sense. The problem is I have to turn off the permissions for it in "Draw over apps" every time another application requests permissions to my phone. It's extremely annoying.

When I don't feel like using hard keys on my S6 Active, this app gives me touchscreen options for home, back, etc buttons. I used the iconify option and made a small transparent bar at the bottom center of my screen that gives me popup icons of my hard keys. This app is very customizable. I would pay for this app, but it's free. Where can I make a developer donation?

This app is amazing, my screens bottom doesnt work anymore, so this app is a saver. However, when I enable it in accessability, it triggers the talk back whenever I type, so this is really annoying...

Thank you for this app. My one plus phone had no simple back button just previous activity stacking, which was not functional for me. I just want to be able to go back to previous page on google, or go back when current loading page has an error. So this app is very useful for my needs.

Great app! One thing that could make it better is if there was an option to hide it and open it by sliding from the edge/side of the screen. As is, and dependent on it's location, it can interfere while setting options in menus as it get's in the way. The Note 4 has a "Side key panel" that operates similar to Back Button, but it can be hidden. It doesn't get in the way of anything. I still rate this app 5 Stars! Installed and enabled accessibility option. And nothing. Try to swipe everywhere. Click all the sides of screen no reaction. Any suggestion?

I have been using this app on a large screen device mostly for better hand navigation conveneince and it sure does its work. Couple of suggestions. 1.should include more buttons like screen lock and a button to manually hide the bar. 2. The iconify doesn't work on screen timeout. Mostly it disappears on click, (bug). 3. Option to choose colors for buttons and icons should be simpler.

What a wonderful application! This was a recommendation from users on Android Central for the ZF2. So glad I followed the lead. Back Button is the perfect solution to the non illuminated hardware keys on this Asus phone. Sweet deal can't rave enough. For every problem there's an answer this was a great answer for me.
