Gotta love it when people expect miracles from Devs just because they can't take a nanosecond to read instructions or realize how much work goes into making an app. This app is clean, simple, accurate & well thought out. This is for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities, astronomy, surveying, or just lost downtown & needs just a general direction. (Guilty) I plan to find ways to use this app just because of how well it is done.

Only compass I've found with complete map features. Excellent AR sighting mode. Good declination controls. Best of the few compass apps that I would trust in open field navigation. Fully functional mils units good for military use and quick triangulation. The new deg/min/sec units work well.

Works as advertized. Its missing a compass calibration function and Android does not appear to recognize it as a camera app, so I can't set it as the default camera for other apps (such as Locus Map or ArcGIS Collector).

This fabulous application will let celestial navigation hobbyists take practice sights they can use to refine their skills in sight reduction. A piece of #10 welding glass, cut in half and doubled, held to the phone with rubber bands, allows sun sights. You will want the paid version of the software, so you can take photos of your sight. Accuracy is limited only by the precision of the inclinometers in your model of phone. Moon & planet sights work well. Stars are too dim for my phone's camera.

All compasses are based on GPS and/or bluetooth...but when youre in remote wildeness...where the hell should I find signal?! This is the answer - you do not need it! Great job

It says it cannot find camera. ALCATEL ONE TOUCH POP Android 4.4.2 1.3Ghz. 512 megs Ram. Never got a chance to even try App.

Only one I've found with complete map features. Good AR sighting mode. Good declination controls. He even added mils in AR mode when I asked! Best of the few compass apps that I would trust in open field navigation.

Well worth having and learning to use it properly helps too! And you can practice racing to the South or North Pole in your back garden when everyone else is out Step two. Front Garden Step three. Local kids playgrounds. Any further than that try to always take someone else with you, *BUT* *ALWAYS* make sure a different someone else who is not going on your trip always knows where you are going, and how long it should normally take to do whatever you are doing! Worked with this app along side the exact compasses I learned land nav with in Scouts and the army. Worked perfect this past weekend, readings matched the physical compasses fine. Couldn't figure out what one of the icons is for though...

Brilliant tool, even as a non-paid application it provides a extremely functional display of onboard magnetic sensor. Be wary of cases with magnets and ferrous materials while using compass.
