Safe My Way

This is an app that informs and educates people about hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes. It tells how each natural phenomena is formed and what to do during one to keep them and their family safe.

This app was created because seventy percent of people in the United States- and undoubtedly the rest of the world- don’t know much about natural disasters. Millions of people die every year due to lack of knowledge and preparedness.

In addition to educating people about these daily occurrences, this app gives a way for people to stay safe by instructing people how to make a disaster kit with essential items that you would possibly need if ever stuck in one. Hopefully by teaching people all this, there will be a much lesser number of casualties by natural disasters.
