Liked interface, has various related info, nicely organized. Dark theme option exists, its helpful to reduce battery usage. Now, locations (Locn) can b added manually w/o Locn service is ON. Only 2 Locns can b added in2 Remote Locn section. Its still using NonEncrypted data thru p/80 of Newark-Linode & Amazon Servers ! used v6.0.0.6, when reviewed. I changed from a detailed weather app to this weather app. It is very accurate, shows all the information you need, is easy to use, doesn't take up much space and is fast. It has become my weather app of choice. What is especially nice is that a gives you an accurate forecast summary for the upcoming week so you can just simply read the forecast. The map is nice but I would like to be able to view cloud cover too. Sometimes the auto updating does not work.

This is the best weather app I found as far as accuracy. Have seen it be accurate down to the minute only 4 stars because it could maybe look better graphically or be more user-friendly I don't really know. Definitely worth paying money for.

My location is getting hit with a major ice storm and all the app is saying is snow. There is a big and dangerous difference between a half inch of snow and a half inch of ice. Thankfully I use more than one weather app and wasn't caught out in it.

For weather, I used to start with NOAA and then branch out to a few other forecasts to get an "average" for the day. Now I find myself only using Arcus. Great app with very accurate forecasting through the day.

I have worked outside for many years, and it was always hit and miss with the weather. Not anymore. Arcus is the must have tool for outdoor activities, work or pleasure. In my use of the app it has been accurate to the minute. You can select another location you're travelling to for the weather before you arrive, absolutely brilliant. I can't rate this enough. UPDATE, this is still my go to weather after all the others I have tried. When you need to know the weather conditions in the next hour or day.

As a person who uses a wheelchair, knowing how long it will continue to rain is so helpful! Getting my wheelchair in/out of my car takes time & I get drenched if it's raining. This app helps me decide if I should "wait it out." Thank you!

The radar has no animation, has limitations in the zoom in/out. Why does it connect to Google maps and show us a picture of the location? I would rather see precipitation, clouds, snow, rain on a moving radar. Thanks in advance!

Excuse me if it feels like I'm advertising for ARCUS weather. I dpent a whole year trying so many kind of weather apps that didn't fulfill my needs. Last week, I found ihis app on a forum and it's just the best weather app ever done. Thanks to the developers.

Nice layout, great customisable widget, loads of info while maintaining minimalist feel. Love the fact I can have the 48h temperature forecast!! Have paid to remove adds and support the app as felt it was deserved (the ads were barely noticeable when they were there though. ) If map option also covered the UK this would get 5 stars :)

I'm not kidding when I say this is the most accurate weather app I've ever used. I trust it every minute of every day, even for tornados. Bonus that the layout is clean & minimalistic while containing as much detail as you want it to, and the widget is customizable.

Even though this app has no kind of material design, it's full to the brim with weather info. There is a graph that let's you know when it'll start and stop raining. I was skeptical until just now. It was basically dead on. Would suggest this weather app to anyone. Good job, Dev!

Great app for depth of data and one of the most comprehensive widgets available in a weather app. The app is smooth with no lag; but has a boring and dated interface design. It's a workhorse app providing the facts (and a lot of those), but with minimal effort to look good while doing it. The app utilizes Forecast.io as the source, which is less than ideal where I live - but I understand can be excellent in other regions.

I'm standing in a snowstorm and the app reports clear skies for the next 48 hours. This would be the best weather app available if only it were accurate

Update - coincidentally right after I wrote this review, it started updating again. WAS good but is not updating any more (2 days) - RESPONSE ERROR

And the "rain in 15 minutes" thing is great. Answers the questions I most want to ask, and gives details others don't, e.g., rain starting/stopping in x minutes, nearest rain y miles SE, etc.

Recently, after I close the app on my Nexus 5X running 7.0, I get a pop-up that Arcus has stopped responding. Please look into as I truly like this app.

I used to love this app, but now has issues loading current data. Takes noticeably longer to update. Hope they fix soon.

I got out for the the widget. However, even if you upgrade the widget would not update unless you press on it. Should update when flip to the screen with it. Otherwise it is quite good

This information I get from this app is amazing. The widget is completely awesome and customizable. The developer is very responsive to issues and suggestions. I will always have room on my phone for this app!

Excellent app, purchased. One feature that is conspicuously absent, though, is the ability to see previous days' temperatures. I'd really like the option to have my widget say "a little colder than yesterday". I've seen this feature on other apps, can you add it to Arcus?

Even with the full version it doesn't refresh automatically no matter what refresh interval is set. I have to manually click on it every time I look at the weather.

Works well, worth the money. Now that DarkSky has re-combined with Forecast.io I am curious how the new DarkSky app will compete against this one as far as weather apps. Arcus has always been great though, so no reason to switch.

Funny story. My cousin and I with our families are camping in Cape Cod. We woke up to a thunderstorm and howling winds engulfing our area. We were a little downcast since it looked like our plans for the day (most of it outdoors) have fallen by the wayside. So I told him about the Arcus app, how it was accurate in its hourly forecast. I checked Arcus around 7:30 am, and the app informed me that the rain and wind will stop IN 2 HOURS. I laughed at the specificity of the forecast, and told my cousin about it. Both of us were very skeptical, as the rain and wind raged all around us, but thought it would be a good test for the app. LO and BEHOLD, after a couple of hours, the rain stopped and the sky cleared! It turns out that it was a hurricane, nothing major though. But ARCUS was right, and I felt good standing by it! It has never failed me even once... My first time to write about an app, because it's been very useful to me.

Edited, upped to 5 stars, working fine again after about a month of lag. Quickest way to see wind and rain forecasts by hour.

I have not gotten to try this weather app yet to see its accuracy, but it needs some work. There's are some glitches making the text appear weird on the app.

BEWARE BEWARE! The stated cost given to upgrade this app is not what you're going to be charged. I began to upgrade- initial quote showed $2.75 but when I hit the purchase button it showed $2.91. Each level of upgrade charges you more than shown when you go to the purchase step. The developer has not responded to why this RIPOFF!

Great app but one small suggestion is it possible to give a resizable icon text. The digits are distractingly large

Arcus looks like the best weather app I've seen so far. Finally found one that delivers easy to understand and logical forecasting. REVISED to 3 stars due to lack of radar for Canada.

This as I find is more accurate than any other I've used. I thank Clayton on Fox & Friends weekends for mentioning it on tv.

Good app and accurate. Enjoying the down to the minute forecast. What I'd like to see is moving radar and widgets that update without having to "force" or touch them.

This is the most accurate weather app I have found and I have tried at least a half dozen. I highly recommend this app and the full version is well worth the money.

Widget doesnt update automatically, can't switch between 12 and 24 hour time display, app crashes when I switch to a different one, fairly ugly interface. Does show you the weather, though.

EXTREMELY INACCURATE GLOBALLY. A WASTE OF MONEY!

App is not opening or in use keeps showing a crash report.

I have it set to update every 30 minutes but does not. Sometimes it might surpass 60 minutes since last update.

Best weather app out there. Provides very detailed to the minute weather readings. You can't go wrong with this awesome weather app!

Hourly forecast is nearly 100%, but daily forecast keeps changing. Can't rely on it for the next day !
