VMEDO (formerly Blood For Sure) is the India’s Best Medical Emergency app, which assist people during their medical emergencies by connecting to the nearest emergency responder (First aid, ambulance, hospital, blood bank, blood donor etc.).
According to WHO estimate, more people die due to lack of timely emergency care than AIDS, TB and malaria combined. Over 6 billion people lack access to reliable emergency response during medical emergencies, and the people who get the response need to deal with delay and unusual costing. Every year around 1, 50,000 people die in India due to lack of timely first aid assistance. During Emergency every second counts, lack to access to proper Emergency care could be a difference between life and death. To address this global issue VMEDO has taken an initiation to build the world’s most reliable emergency response network and make it accessible to everyone.
Application is built with some of the finest features to assist people during medical emergencies and few features to encourage volunteer activity. In addition to adding lot of features and functionalities at most care is taken to make is user friendly, quick, light and secure.
1. First aid: this is the first aid assistance tool, which has step by step first aid tips for over 21 different emergency situations. This feature is designed in such a way that it will work even if there is no internet connection. First aid tips for every Emergency situation is taken from the global standards and evaluated by some of the best Doctors. First aid steps has the added feature i.e., it will be read by our automatic text to speech converter, which could help people to use during emergency to deliver basic first aid just by listening to the voice command.
2. Find ambulance: This feature assist people to find out the nearest ambulance during emergencies, select the type of ambulance and reach out to our helpline for booking ambulance.
3. Find Hospitals Nearby: This feature assist people to find the nearest hospital during emergency (currently only in Bangalore). It allows user to find hospitals based on various specializations, locations, Name, Treatment, and Doctor. User can book appointment with the hospitals/ Doctors or call the hospital directly.
4. Find Blood: This feature assist people to find the nearest blood bank, blood donor during emergencies. And get connected to the required Blood donors through phone and SMS.
5. Health tools: It has got over 8 health tools like BMI, Heart rate calculator etc.
6. Emergency Button: This feature will help users to notify Emergency to their Emergency trusted contacts in a click of a button.
7. Profile and social sharing: User can set up his own Social profile, register as a blood donor and use social sharing option to spread the awareness.

There is no information of hospitals or ambulances in Chennai. For that matter, it is restricted to very few states in India. So the app is of no good use to the others.

I was worried about the availability of ambulances when I was encountered emergency situation. I heard about this app through media sometime back so immediately I used blood for sure app for booking an ambulance. Good app devlope bt my blood group is nt in a list. My blood group is Bombay Blood group (Ohh group) plz update the app as early as possible. Also remind me bcoz I am update my blood group. It's nt a good app. Am uninstall this app. Its time wasting app..u have to work so much on this app

I book ambulance from this app.. The ambulance has no basic facility and full of dust... And ambulance driver is drunken ..and behaved very badly, spoke bad words.. And he refuse to take the stretcher in side with patient. .. Stretcher is very poor quality... Don't book any service in this app.
