What is giclee printing? If you work in graphic design then there is little doubt that you have come across this term before in passing. Do you know what it means? This article will help outline the types and criteria that a giclee needs to print.
The first thing you need to know is that it's pronounced 'Zhee-Clay'. The word 'giclée', meaning 'that which is sprayed or squirted'.
Giclee print is a type of inkjet printing - but importantly, not all inkjet prints are giclee prints. Giclee printing is a high-quality, high-quality printer.

This scarcity of physical prints does have immense benefits, though, as it is still the best and most revered method of owning a photograph. Prints bring value to your work and also a more special means for sharing your images with others than viewing them on LCD screen.
