DataVault Password Manager

Have used this for the last seven (?) plus years across multiple platforms (Droid, Windows, Mac, iPad, maybe even Blackberry (? - my memory is not so good), it is a great app. It is great to have all that info in one secure place that syncs across devices. I rely on it heavily because like I said my memory is not so good.

An excellent password manager that I've used for years. I have the same database on a Windows 10 desktop, a Samsung5 Android, and an iPad - which are automatically synchronized via DropBox. Make a change on one of the devices, and it's synchronized in seconds on the other devices. While DataVault has a whole bunch of advanced features, such as integration with browsers, I generally keep my use simpler. DataVault has various templates for storing info, but you can create your own. The only times I've had any difficulties have come when one of my apps has gone out of date. Email support has been quick and to-the-point, and I've now set all three versions to automatically update. My bad.

This is the best, & most secure password handler app I have ever used. I have been using it for years and will never change. 5 stars all the way. A must have app for busy people that have A lot of passwords and other things to remember and don't want others to get a hold of. Get it!! You won't be sorry.

I've been using this tool for 10 years (original install was on a Blackberry 8830). It's had a few hiccups (password login glitch) but they've always been resolved. I appreciate the fingerprint integration. If I have one ask, it's that initial login permit fingerprint auth rather than password. Thanks!

Lifesaver. I have so many different passwords for work and various websites, that I had resorted to an excel spreadsheet. Not only was that unsecured, but it didn't help if it was at home while I was at work or out somewhere on my phone. This has saved my bacon ????

This app is a true gem. Datavault works across iOS and Android devices once you get the sync setup, which can be irksome. Enabling the fingerprint reader for login helps when switching between apps to copy and paste a password. It would be convenient to pin frequently used login info to the top of the list instead of having to run searches all the time. Thanks!

For the second time in 6 months this app simply lost all my passwords. It is worthless as i must now re enter everything. Good apps do not have fail like this. Avoid ay all costs

I've now got this on my PC desktop, my Android 'phone and my Android tablet. I used it for many years on iPads and iPods and have easily migrated to my Android devices. I couldn't do without it. It's so simple to use and easy to sync across all my devices. One password and I have access to all my important logins and private information - and I can copy and paste easily. I can't see how it could be any better.

I've had this app since it's inception. Very pleased except for synching issues between devices (could be an external issue within my environment? )(I do not use the cloud). However, I do manage to cross duplicate data by moving the backup files into the correct root directories in each device. Currently, I have over 250 entries into this app. I highly recommend it.

I've had it for 5years and love having all 4 of my items synced. Easy to use! Amazed more people don't buy it. I downloaded a few others, but none seem as simple as this.

After my initial review, and specifically my problems restoring a backup I created on an iOS device to my Android device, Ascendo wasted no time in assisting me. Just so you folks know, if you're using the app between different platforms, the Dropbox Sync feature is what worked for me. And the master password has to be the same across devices. Awesome app!

been using DataVault for years now. I would NEVER trust any other program. Ascendo tech support is superb! Do not trust your lifes info to any other app.

I had such a bad memory for remembering thing but since having Datavault I've got no worries now. It's absolutely brilliant. There customer servis is excellent!

It's has stopped working well.....doesnt sync things properly and in fact when this happens you get lost as to which password is the right one.....plus once I had to pay for an update..... What a waste of money

Flexible and easy to use. I have syncing problems for some reason but blame windows 10.

I like this app a lot. I haven't even really explored the DataVault app's extras and other tools, but I plan on doing that soon. This security app was recommended to me by a computer software expert whom I've known since the early 1980's and who has been my go-to computer and software expert. I trust him as much as I trust DataVault.

I have been using this since my BlackBerry days. It simple to use and I have always relied on Data Vault to protect my password. It's the best app to maintain important information

Very useful and easy to use. Syncs between phone and computer. Been using it for years now and have been very happy with it. Support has also been good when I did experience a glitch with an older computer and blackberry phone.

I've used this app for several years. I have it on 3 Android devices and also on a Windows laptop. I synchronise records via Drobox, which works very well. It is invaluable - don't know how I would manage without it. On the very rare occasion when I have needed technical support, the response has been extremely quick. Can recommend it wholeheartedly.

This is the best app I have found for security and ease of use. Although I have been using it for many years and haven't felt any need to look at others.

The security settings don't seem to make a difference if you change them... The fingerprint setting doesn't work, and whenever you enter your password to access the app, it shows your password regardless of the settings. Takes way too many steps to enter your login info for each password too. I expect this type of issues on free apps, not ones I paid for!

I have used DataVault for years. It’s the best tool to manage your passwords and as important their support team reply promptly to any questions. Highly recommended!

Data vault is a decent password manager but you can't sync it with the Linux operating system.

Superb app- easily sync secure info between devices. Tech support is very responsive to issues.

Best password management product out there. It has great cross-platform Mobile support, along with Windows desktop application as well.

This app works flawlessly and is always available when I need to access my passwords.

If I close the app and open it 2 hours later it requires me to login before I can use my fingerprint. I wish it could wait 24 hours at least before needing me to type in my password.

I use this thing dozens of times a day to manage hundreds of passwords. It is powerful and syncs well and I consider it worth the money. I also bought the Mac app for syncing and for desktop use. No regrets.
