I really love this application. It gives me a lot of information for ships in my area, along with their destination and ETA.

This is only a DEMO version. It does not track anything. It requires you to pay for subscription to Full version. Don't waste your time! UNINSTALLING NOW

Might be a fine app, but I couldn't verify this because most of the features are turned off in demo mode. You can't search for a ship, and the location data is out of date.

I fully second another users opinion who wrote: Too expensive & very poor. Doesn't do anything the free marine traffic app doesn't do. Ridiculously expensive subscription, Uninstalled immediately.

Workz perfectly alrite, here in Singapore

Good for me because I submit my own AIS feed and the program is free. Otherwise it will cost you. For most people you will probably find marine traffic better - it also has better coverage. That said, VT explorer does load the ships really fast, (about 10 times faster on my phone with a slow mobile connection). Also the maps it uses - at least in my local port - is more detailed and has berth numbers marked. The position update is 30 seconds - which makes the positions much more up to date than marine traffic.

Good graphics and nice interface but at 50 euros you had better have a real need for this program. I'll use another.

Expensive subsciption needed to see current data. Why pay when you can get the same thing for free using Marinetraffic (which is better anyway)

I am tracking the ship I am on now and it is way out. In fact it is 400 miles out as well as 4 days. Marine traffic is bang on, however.

Have just tracked the ship my husband is on and the information is 5 days out of date. Would be good if current!

Wow! I've dreamed about something similar. Works perfectly on my legend. Very usefull features and easy interface.

A free app that costs 480 eu a year...no thanks
