I really wanted to love this app. It's interface looks great, the audio is good, I like all the lesson categories. But the problem is that I just don't feel like I'm really learning. I really wish this had a spaced repetition system like other apps. Even when you get one wrong it just continues to the next word instead of repeating the one you don't know. You have to do the lesson from start again. The chat bot is a cool idea but I wish there were more, like one for each lesson so you get more practice. It would also be hugely beneficial to include alphabet lessons, and some basics lessons in the language. Also some harder lessons for intermediate or advanced learners with more dialogs.THEN it would be a great app!

I already paid for this month but canceled my subscription for future months thinking mondly would still let me finish for thw month I paid but nope. So, basically mondly just stole $10 from me. If this did not happen it would be a cool idea but unfortunatlely I just cannot reccomend right now.

I like the app, content is fine & I like being able to switch between alphabets but the constant loss of audio is too frustrating. This is clearly a known issue as it is in the troubleshooting section but even that doesn't always work so I often have to reboot my phone just to do a lesson over headphones. Audio is fine over speakers but not always an option. Shame but I am probably going to cancel my subscription.

I think pronounication could be slower, it takes a while to pick up but I guess in real life I will have to listen just as hard. Lol Hopefully my Korean and Japanese are more flent since I postponed my trip until next summer.

It can be quite a good app. I'm learning Afrikaans and there is a good amount of Afrikaans on there which is cool. But, there are SO many mistakes in the app and the voice recognition is dreadful. And now I have paid £48 for a year's subscription and I can't get in to my lessons. Which is just a joke when the app is overpriced to begin with. If I had another choice for extensive Afrikaans lessons I would take it. And the response to this is a joke ... I have already dealt with Ioana days after I raised the issue and after a good few emails. Eventually I got access to my account back again and I was refunded for the duplicate payment but the app is still wrong at least 10% of the time for Afrikaans. Ioana, I can't believe you come on here and make a comment as if we haven't already dealt with the long overdue issues.

Very cool app and good for learning key words and sentences but I wish that there were tests where you had to type down the words not just click on the words and whatever you got wrong that word would be reapeted until you got it right 20 Times in a row.

Lies, you can learn a new language for free if you pay 49.99 a year. I could understand some paid content but 90% is ridiculous if mondly is going to emphasize Free repeatedly here. Also, disabling learning notifications did not stop the pervasive notifications, had to uninstall. So when I decide to spend $ on learning a new language, I'll be adverse to choosing this because of the rampant dishonesty in its promotion..
