At first I couldn't get this to work. I was using the"Setup and Transfer" app on the the new phone, and this app (AT&T Mobile Transfer) on the old one. I was getting a network error, even though there was no connection issue with either phone. I ended up downloading this app to the new phone and using it instead of the pre-installed "Setup and Transfer" app, and it worked perfectly. (I'm rating it 4 stars because it should have worked out of the box without having to troubleshoot or download the app to the new phone.)

Helps save all my info. Only down side you have to have both devices on the same Wi-Fi network. If you can't see your screen it's useless. Art maybe direct Wi-Fi? Direct Bluetooth?

I tried to transfer only text messages (sms and mms) and the call log history. The call log came through quickly and without any errors. Even though the text portion was estimated at five minutes, 45 minutes later the transfer finally finished. When it did, it was only MMS messages... Not a single sms message after all. I tried again... Same thing... And then I gave up

I tried to transfer the stuff on my old phone to my new phone twice. The first time it estimated about 39 mins. When it got down to 36 seconds, it stayed stuck there for almost an hour. I cancelled the upload and tried again. The second time estimated about 1 hr and 36 mins and it appeared to be going fast. When it said 1 min 36 secs, it took hours and it still wasn't complete. I cancelled it again and did it through Samsung smart switch. It was much quicker. The only thing I'm confused about is my apps wouldn't transfer bc I my new phone didn't have enough memory but both phones have the same amount. I don't understand why it wouldn't transfer. I was wondering if this could have been the reason this app didn't work for me.

Love this! Finally, after years of not being able to get everything from an old phone to new one. Now I have this!! I use it at work! I sell cricket service and phones and love being able to do this for customers! AT&T/Cricket rocks!!

I tried to transfer my phone number that i had on my samung galixy mega 2 that was still working but the screen was shattered to a brand new LG X Venture and now my phone number in the status part of the settings says my phone number is is Unknown and not also that but my network and mobile network type Unknown and to go with that as well my mobile network state is DISCONNECTED YOU GAYS NEED TO MAKE TRANSFERING YOUR PHONES MORE EASY SO THIS DOSE NOT HAPPEN TO ME AGIN

I couldn't get it to open on my new s6 edge. I'm looking my music and my videos. Att store couldn't transfer those 2 areas. My broken s6 it opened just fine but I need it to work on both

This took a lot of worry of my ming that it was taking everything I have on my existing phone and putting it on the new one. One less frustration to deal with. Just wondering why a few of contacts didn't get processed over,but overall it did 99.9% of the job!

This app did not work what so ever, it keeps loading and tells me to be patient, but loses connection after an hour of "preparing transfer files"

It won't even open so I can't use the damn thing!! How am I suppose to use something that doesn't work!!

Crashes upon launch. Does not work with my Note 8 and neither does the default transfer method that came with the phone.

Unlike AT&T's

Yeah. Finally an app that really transfer from one to another. Used it to transfer all my offline music stick in Amazon to my new phone..mine you if the only app that was able to do it.

This app saved me from going back to the At&t store to transfer my contacts since I didn't bring my old phone with me when I purchased the new one. I was able to do the transfer myself at home with one easy step. Would recommend to everyone!

Loved it it helped me get all my contacts and pictures from my old phone to my new one..its a life saver

Easy to use and very time saving

Wouldn't allow me to transfer accounts such as Facebook and Google. This would be an improvement, but otherwise seems to work great.

Worked well. Would've preferred it let me transfer over WiFi before I got a SIM card

It's a really great app really good for transferring all of your files as long as you're on the same WiFi

It was effective in transferring the things I was missing when I transferred my apps.

Quick and easy but I wish it had a scheduled Auto sync option
