The Autodesk ForceEffect Motion engineering app is perfect for developing mechanical systems with moving parts upfront in the in the design process, some of the features include:
•Freehand sketching of elements and construction lines with snaps, constraints, inferencing and dimensions
•Import image as background, simple manipulation
•Create functional mechanical joints (welded, pinned, sliding, collar, crossing)

•Analyze positional data by adding trace points (trace path, velocity vectors)

You are locked out of features of the app if you own a newer Samsung phone or tablet. You cannot delete diagrams or change units since the settings icons won't show up on your screen and the menus button will open recent apps rather then bringing up the menu.

Crashes frequently. To the point it's pointless to have installed, you can't delete once you back out of the main page and after a while you are scrolling through hundreds of projects you don't want or need.

Ia it possible to add things such as gears, and/or actual physical parts that you can make on your own? That would be extremely helpful for me (and obviously others out there.) Other than that, I love how simple and easy it is to test your own contraptions with this app! Great job!

I liked its concept but i've been thinking if you can make an app with 3d objects in motion where we could design objects in 3d and make it move then let the calculations later a 3d app for d.i.y. with animations that would be a great app

Wish I could put toolbar at the bottom of the screen. And also it feels beta, as it crashes a lot and some of the ui tool tips get cropped. Cloud storage isn't working either (I can't tell). Polish this and I'd be more than happy to pay good money for it. Incredibly useful just as it is though. Thanks.
