Well, this application is for you. Save your silent schedule and simply toggle the application on/off, and it will silent & un-silent the device when needed! No longer phone confiscations at school or manager staring at you when your phone rings in the middle of your weekly meetings.

Light, simple, but clock based and I could not find a countdown mode. Uninstalled. Also no off mode; always runs.

It keeps making my phone turn itself off and / or on at random times. I was just startled by the start up sounds of my galaxy s. I like the simplicity of the app and it appears to work so far. There is one big bug though. You can not have a silent period span overnight. Considering sleepy time will normally coincide with silent time this is a major oversight. Got around it with two timer perids but here is still that 1 minute from 11:59 to 12:00 where i could be woken by the phone.
