Events Reminder (Country style)


Application Description:

This is a great birthday, anniversary, and other stuff reminder and it can do more than just remind. You can schedule a text message to be sent for any person you want at a selected time, so even when you forget your friends birthday, the message from you will still pop up on their phone!

Included:

- Widget option that shows upcoming events
- Events option to schedule a birthday or an anniversary
- Option to send sms to a specific person at a certain time
- A reminder that reminds you about an upcoming event
- Countdown timer


How To Use:

Tap the home screen and select Widgets, afterwards select Birthday Widget. Tap the widget once to open the main menu. Hit the menu button and hit preferences.
You can select a widget style there, as well as toggle options such as sending a text to the person or just having a notification pop up, as well as setting up the
time. Tap on Notification Time to have a time frame as to when to send that text message. Notifications Sent button is a safeguard that is meant to prevent the application
from sending the same message twice to the same person, but it can also be triggered in case you want to send a personal, typed greeting to your friend.
In the greetings section, you can customize the text for each of the situations and that will be the text your friends see. NOTE: Always hit save, then hit update.


New Event:

To create a new event,tap on the widget, hit events on the bottom left, and select a person from your contacts. NOTE: MAKE SURE ALL YOUR CONTACTS HAVE A MOBILE PHONE NUMBER OTHERWISE SMS (TEXT) FUNCTION WILL NOT WORK! In the top right corner, hit the plus sign. You can set the event by hitting the first little window (Birthday, Anniversary, etc.) then hit the second little window to select a date. On that date, the person will receive the text message that was previously customized at the time you set it for (see above paragraph for clarification.) If you want to delete an event, hit the little minus.
NOTE: PRESS SAVE AND UPDATE AFTER CREATING EVENT!

New Reminder:

To set up a new reminder, tap on the widget, and hit reminder button on the bottom right. Hit add, and customize your reminder by selecting time and a specific date. You can also select it to be a silent reminder or choose a ringtone that you wish to hear. After you are done, hit save, then update. If you tap and hold on the reminder,
an option will pop out to edit, delete, or preview the reminder.

Timer:

The timer option is located in the reminder section, and it is found on the bottom left in the reminder menu. You can tap it, select an amount of minutes (within 60 minutes) and have it go off in that time. Perfect for short time reminders.
