My GP practice locally is regularly staffed with temps. I never get to see the same doctor each time and it takes weeks to get an appointment. I was able to see a doctor in the comfort and privacy of my own home very quickly with Babylon. The doctor I spoke to much better than the NHS experience. Prescription in Boots the next day. Within a day my condition has improved significantly indicating spot on diagnosis. I don't think I will go back to my local GP anymore unless I have to. Outstanding app.

Terrible design. Confusing. Not clear. Promos not on offer when you sign up first time. Supposed to be £5 but clearly says you need to pay £25. Had to re type info an symptoms about 5 times trying to get first time promo to work. Just give up in the end. Also i am a technical person but this is the worst app i have EVER delt with. Also tried putting me on a 3 month subscription when i looked at my subscriptions

my surgery is so understaffed that sometimes they dont even have doctors there! they used to have a branch surgery near me but they shut it 2 weeks after i moved here! have to get a bus now on the rare occaision they have any appointments iv waited 5 weeks before to be seen!

Since the last big update this previously useful app no longer works. Whatever I do in the app is followed by a "Loading..." message that just hangs infinitely. Shame, it used to be good.

Paid for this via my employer. I cant register because the app does not download the countries. I have tried many times but it refuses to download. Useless for me. Will have to complain and seek a refund.

Most impressed! I always struggle to get an appointment at my usual GP practise due to long waiting times for appointments and it is also a trek getting to the surgery as i live in a rural area! My usual plan B would be to go to a walk in centre and, although needed - (i felt) it was not important enough to go to the walk in centre and cause a longer wait for people who are more seriously ill than me. I decided to give Babylon a go, signed up to the app ( i felt i needed to be treated today for a piercing infection and not in a week when it is worse) and i was delighted with the service. I had a video consultation within 40 minutes in the comfort of my own home, It was all very quick and organised and the consultant was very polite and professional. If you have medicine prescribed, you have the choice to pick up your prescription from any local pharmacy to you or have it delivered the following day. There is a fee for a consultation and prescriptions are charged at the private rate and not at the NHS rate but i was most happy with this service and so do not mind paying for it - you get what you pay for and in this circumstance it was great, efficient service!

The app worked well, it was easy to setup an appointment. A reminder was sent 5 minutes before the call. The GP answered promptly and the video was clear.

Never going to a GP again

I'm well in my '50s and I never thought that I would find an application that useful! I live in a quite secluded area in Wales called Masturien and seeing a GP has always been a nightmare. Babylon is easy to use and its doctors feel much more professional than my local surgery that I feel they gossip around some of my substance abuse history... Love the material design!

I went to the upgrade button to find more info on the subscription options. I clicked one of them, hoping it would take me to the next page. Instead it immediately subscribed me without any extra confirmation buttons. Don't think I was charged anything and I immediately downgraded but it is definitely not very well designed.

We have an appaling doctors where i live. 3 weeks for an appointment, rude, etc. And then theres babylon, polite, professional and most importantly, they listen and act on what you are telling them!! I invested in a blood pressure monitor and an in ear thermometer. £39 and youve got the stuff that helps diagnosis. They also do blood tests at babylon but im not sure how they work as ive never bought one. Just very professional and as every doctor should be. Very impressed not going to the local gp again.

So good!! Helped me out so much. Can't recommend it enough. Really simple to use and very helpful.

I see no reason why the app would require so much personal information. You don't need my name and email address. Uninstalled immediatly.

If I could just afford the plan for Greece, which is too expensive for me, and could then test how appointement are being handled and what consulation is received I would rate the app with 5 stars definetely!

I get through the registration but then the app crashes. Can find out why? Sadly unusable.

My little boy & myself were sick & didn't need to leave the house. Just booked a consultant over video chat & our prescriptions were with our local pharmacy within an hour. Brilliant service, lovely friendly doctors.

Tells me that my Facebook and email sign in are incorrect and won't load up

It can take me more than 2 weeks to get a doctors appointment at my local surgery so i have used this app a couple of times. The doctors i have spoken to have been lovely and really helpful. I have recommended this app to my friends. The only issue is that the doctors seem to use loudspeaker and it can be difficult to hear them sometimes

It's all about their pockets! (MONEY) I really want to swear at you a whole lot!!!!!... so there it is!

I can not even use the check symptom??? It's faulty and costs to do everything!! Rubbish

A little bit limited as to what a GP can do via a video call (they obviously can't pull your arms etc around), but much better than waiting 3 weeks to see my own GP. Also, my monthly medication works out 50% cheaper than a NHS prescription, so I'm winning!

Says asking a question is free but every answer I've ever got has been "We need more information, please pay to have a consultation." Don't use a supposed free part of the program to push the premium features.

Obviously very limited what a GP can do over phone and video link an therefore dangerous.
