Bandcamp

There are some problems I can see. The lyrics tend to glitch sometimes, where you can't access them any more. By swiping down and back up, they reappear. Also, pushing a back arrow in an album does not reset the song to the beginning, it goes to the previous song. A little annoying. Last, please and in the ability to make playlists. Other than those three, the app is epic!

It's so good in so many ways. However I've listened to something and now it keeps popping back up. Like all the time. I've shut the app down get the picture. I can't listen to you all the time. Also why is the website up to date and the app not? I get an email about music follow the link and get the site not the app. Check the app not as up to date as the website? Why is this? Also why doesn't the email link to the app?

My tablet case is not particularly stable in portrait mode. Most apps simply rotate to work in landscape mode. But not Bandcamp. It also uses icons that are not clear (wavy lines are fog? a river? oh, stream, as in streaming... right, but it is a newsfeed, not my music stream which is actually under the heart icon because reasons). I can't shuffle an artist's entire catalog as far as I can tell, and I can't use the app to download tracks and add to my preferred music player.

Very cumbersome and complicated. Would be nice to see new releases from your followed genres, but you can't (or I can't figure out how). A frustrating app.

Well I've used bandcamp for years but I haven't been on it in a long time. It felt good to listen to new music and rediscover a place that I used to be on every night at 3 am, thinking. However, in this time, they have also updated their app which at first glance, looks amazing. Looks are not enough when you don't thoroughly test out new updates. The app crashes after around 45 seconds and it does this over and over and over again. I would like to come back to this place. But fix the damn app.

Shuts down after 10-20 seconds every time I go through my wishlist. Piss poor communication! I would give it zero stars if I could.

Used to work entirely as stated. Now it seems to lock up on certain tracks, forcing a system restart or a reinstall on the band camp app. Was awesome but is now merely great.

Bandcamp is my main source for music. The old app was basic, but worked. The new one is all fresh and shiny, but unnecessary so. Searching, finding and playing the music you like seems to be only a secondary objective. Technically, the app is very slow, freezes and crashes a lot. I use an Oneplus One. It's still a capable phone, but the Bandcamp app just doesn't perform. A real shame for an otherwise great music platform.

I can't open this app without letting the company get into my photos and other private information. Sad.

Whose brilliant idea was it to play elevator music over the login screen? When I say "brilliant", I mean the "worst idea anyone has ever had".

I love Bandcamp as a product, but lately it's been skipping songs when I play an album in my collection all the way through (namely on the new menzingers album if the QA folk want to investigate). Fix it up guys and gals and you'll get a five star review!

It was epic, latest update won't even load music. I'll keep an eye on it for when its fixed but I'll keep my money from these musicians until then. Also still no Chromecast support.

Why can't I listen to MY MUSIC, THAT I BOUGHT, offline? Seriously. I wouldn't have even boughten it if I knew it wouldn't work offline

Please optimize your updates before pushing them out the door. This newest version runs horribly.

This is an issue with the website too: if you buy two singles from the same album, they should not appear independently in the collection folder. Also, if I buy two singles off an album, the album should be less than the full price

Everytime I press play it's not picking up

The closest thing you'll get to going into an obscure record store in finding bands that you've never heard of it's a lot of fun

I bought a couple of albums, now it's saying doesn't recognize my email, to recover the albums I want to add to my new phone.. Wow!

Utterly useless for podcasts. Will not play items from my collection half the time. Does not make it easy to get to my collection.

I love that you guys support artists. Music is my coping tool and it always has been. Keep up the great work

Bandcamp is great for discovering new bands, for supporting underground bands, and/or just for being able to find high quality digital files for your favorite bands. Love everything about it, and the app itself works great.

A good app overall but its definitely more sluggish than other popular music apps when streaming your collection.

Used to be great and my only source for music on my phone. Now it won't play cached songs when offline anymore so it is next to useless for me at the moment.

Love the Bandcamp app, works perfectly, I really like the new design, music plays without any faults, now i can listen to Renard Queenston!

Use it to sell my music and find new music, can't think of anywhere offering that service any better

I can't sign up with an username that only contains letters and there is no way to contact them

It's fine. Wish you could navigate your connection better though, like other media players.

Bandcamp is the best thing that ever happened both to true music fans and music creators.

Stop asking me to 'Rate the App' every time I open it. I have rated it.

How do I login or play my collection with this new interface?

It'd be great if during the play, next track could be buffered already.
