The Barman

I have to reboot device to mix more than one drink. And one must just go slow to keep from getting ahead of the device or you'll end up with a partially mixed drink. The device is hard on battery life too.

The app seems to work aside from getting server errors on some screens. For those struggling with Bluetooth pairing, you do it in the app when making a drink, not in your device's Bluetooth menu. This is actually kinda nice, since multiple people can use the barman without having to constantly switch who's connected to it. The hardware seems to work fine for me, but even if it didn't that's not the app's fault. Hopefully the dev releases some kind of API for the device, I'd love to make my own apps for it

Had trouble with app linking to Barman when trying to Bluetooth to it, but when I found out you connect by choosing the drink you want and then connecting through the app, I was stoked to see it worked! Liquor cabinet can be improved to help search for drinks with the ingredients that you have, but Barman works a treat!

Can't even get the download to work with my Samsung active S6. So far I have an expensive coaster.

The app is programmed terribly. If you try to make an account it will say "server not responding" if your name contains non English characters. Of course you can work around that, but that won't help you much as the whole thing doesn't work in the end as once you send a drink and hit ok on the barman it immediately says "drink complete". There seems to be no work around tired it on multiple devices, all stock Android and non of them could make this app work properly. Extremely poor software design!

Galaxy S6 - barman receives drink and is suddenly COMPLETE! CHEERS for this piece of trash. I paid a lot of money for an oversized coaster with an LED in it. FIX THIS. NOW.

Issue: select a drink, send it to barman, it shows drink recieved and then immediately changes to Drink Ready .... please fix this issue.

This is a piece of trash.. Will not load anything nor pair with Bluetooth. No instructions or anything on internet.. DO NOT BUT THIS GARBAGE..

As soon as I try to register my account, I'm getting "server not responding", can't rate the app a part from register screen. Since the app is not working, my hardware (the barman unit) becomes useless.

Useless without barman unit.

When you make a drink, it needs the steps to follow along on screen. This will make things more clear to the end user as reading the display on the device is hard. As well needs to be able to mix drinks down to 1 Oz please. 6 Oz is alot when trying to make kamikaze shots and such.

I'm a Kickstarter backer of the Barman. Just got mine today. I think the drink choices are varied and the app is stable. However, the hardware is 1st gen. The buttons are not responsive and the display is hard to read as it scrolls (would be better to display a line of text and let the user click next to see more). Update: After restart I got the display to show the "progress" of the pour. Much easier! Will use this more now.

Can't get to liquor cabinet screen on tablet. Back button doesn't exit app. Potential is there.

Sweet app. Looks and works great. Now I'd really like to see an offline version that doesn't need constant wifi to mix drinks
