Pebble Mail was created to fix the duplicate mail issue with Exchange and GMail caused by KitKat 4.4.
Ive tested it on the Nexus5 and Nexus7. The code is pretty specific to the Nexus so this may not work on other models.

Was having this issue and this app seems to have solved it so thank you! Only suggestion would be to show the message body in the notification to the pebble

Pushes Gmail just fine, but doesn't work with the HTC One M8 email client.
