Thumb Keyboard

I've watched as many features were peeled away in key board configuration. If the THUMB people were up on most recent Android designs they would realize how easy it is to accidentally close the keyboard or alternatively hit the V B Z or N key. Customizability and one thumb easy operation are what made this keyboard great. Please re-establish space bar tapping as we as rehabbing your product. I'm looking for a new keyboard, time is being Los

....when in split layout landscape, spacebar on the right moves my cursor to the top of what I'm typing and dont know why.....HELP!!!! Update..... so now it just randomly closes up on me and doesn't function. If it would just work for me like its supposed to, I could give it a 5 star because it's a hell of a lot better than the Google typing or the Samsung keyboard, but only when it works! WHY WILL NO ONE RESPOND?

(Over a year now. Nothing.) SUPPORT STILL HAS NOT CONTACTED ME! Used to be pretty good. Now it puts "n" in when I hit the space bar most times, capital M gets in alot also. But the biggest issue is it will insert a copy of a word or phrase when I'm trying to delete it. Not as good as it was. Oh! And I couldn't reach support on their webpage to solve this.

This is sofar the best keyboard ever for the samsung S3 mini, Tab3.7 and now Note4. ONLY REASON j give 1 star is that I emailed the developer 2times and NO REPLY! All I want to no is how toe personalize the FUNCTION KEY;the F1 ect. Then all give a 5* rating - I PROMISE! ;-)

Irritating and intermittent bug where text shortcut opens up randomly. Fast typing seems to cause this the most. Adjusting long press delay does not solve the problem. This used to be a wondeful app, sad to see it go since the bug in question is deal breaking.

Update..It has become glitcy. Many typong errors. I've tried them all folks...all. Over 20 different keyboards. This is it, the predictive text could be better otherwise 5 stars.11/2012 letters repeat a lot, plus after they've been deleted they come back....

Hello, since android froyo, I still used this awesome keyboard. I love it so much, I don't want to use any other keyboard. Will you kindly add emojis to this app, please? I'm tired of switching keyboard just to add emojis to my chats. Thankyou! I know you will update it, rite? :)

I love this keyboard. Unfortunately, it looks like it stopped getting updates in 2014. It's such a shame because it's the best split keyboard available. I guess it got buried by the other guys' promotion budgets. It's just a matter of time before an Android update breaks it, and it becomes unusable. I'm so dependent on some its amazing features that I don't know what I'm going to do when that happens.

Would be perfect if it was just a bit more customizable. Would also like more skins, such as the default A I keyboard with shadows and button reflection. WHY DO I NEED TO BE ONLINE TO CHANGE KEYBOARD SETTINGS? Down to 2 stars.

I wish I could continue using this keyboard, I lived it. But the dev has fallen asleep at the wheel. Now with Marshmallow, thumb keyboard is wreaking all sorts of havoc with my phone. The keyboard still works but it causes problems with lots of other things. I'll have to uninstall until someone updates it.

Keeps crashing my system now that I've updated my os. This was and still is my favorite keyboard (on my older OS device). It appears to work initially, but then it slowly dies. The dying behavior is characterized by the key press sound starting to lag behind keystrokes and then stopping altogether. At this point, no videos will play at all via any other app. Seems like it affects the dsp somehow. Other keyboards with sounds do not exhibit this same behavior. Force stopping the process fixes it for a little.

Other keyboards I've tried seem like gimmicks. Swiping and better suggestions don't appeal to me. Thumb keyboard allow customization of pretty much everything on a keyboard. The staggered portrait layout is awesome.

I have been using this App for years, across many devices. I really appreciate the level of aesthetic/practical customisation it grants. I recently got a Moto G5 that has the option to move the on-screen Nav-Bar to its "One-Button nav" (off screen), very handy, but when I have a keyboard open the Nav-Bar comes back(I assume it's because it has some setting on it). When the phone is in landscape the nav-bar covers some of the keyboard, rendering your app useless in that orientation. I've contacted Motorola & they were very eager to tell me that it's not their problem. Hopefully you guys are more helpful Either way, keep up the good work ( =

Its OK,haven't had any problems like others but can't give 5*, lacks quite a few things...1)no swiping 2)no emojis 3)no clipboard 4)dictionary needs more voc. & better predictions 5)would be nice if there was better themes or if we could use other paid themes

Best keyboard I've ever used. Everyone I show it to ends up buying it. Just please consider adding emojis. It's 2015 yo. We need to express ourselves on the web like ancient Egyptians

Used to be so good... I used this on multiple devices and loved it. Unfortunately, nowdays it crashes several times a day and even restarts the whole phone. Such a shame. There is no emoji support, which makes me feel like a dinosaur typing old-school smileys. Developer seems to be ignoring users... I'd gladly pay for the app with better customer service and more frequent updates.

Despite it's current lack of support this is still hands down...or rather thumbs up ...the best keyboard on the market. I have used it on all my devices for a few years now. The options are so extensive anyone can customize to an exact fit. Well worth the purchase.

This keyboard is way better then swiftkey just for the simple fact you can basically make your own theme if you wanted to. Only downside, add in ctr, alt, ect. Need to use "hackers keyboard" for all my ssh stuff.

I had to stop using this keyboard...Whenever I would try to log into ANY app I would get an error saying my password is incorrect. I know I am typing the correct password, I even tried resetting several password (mobile banking, amazon, instagram, ebay etc.) and could never confirm the same password twice....as soon as I disabled this app I was able to log into the same apps with my regular passwords. Weird. Used to love this app, but now I can't use it.

Note 4, now freezing all the time and glitching like crazy. I have used this on 5 different phones and on my note for 8 months and now it's tweeking

This is my favorite keyboard. I do a lot in a terminal emulator and thus keyboard gives me access to keys that are not typically on default boards, but are handy for working in a command line environment.

Constant force closes. I have to clear data every few days and resetup keyboard. I have sent multiple emails to the developer with no response. Not even a screw you. Don't waste your money. Update: still constantly force closing. It crashes when flipping between voice input and typing. I have emailed the developer hundreds of times without a single response. This problem has persisted on 3 different phones and multiple versions of android ranging from 4.1 to 5.0.1. Update 2: still does it on 6.0.1.

The stock keyboard on the Note 7 is good, but its auto correct feature is very slow and just can't keep up with me. This does a much better job, I have zero lag now and I don't have to sit there and wait for it to decide if something is spelled incorrectly or not. Thumb also feels a much more accurate.

Would get 5 stars if they add it. -Edit- After the Nougat update, the keyboard crashes all the time on the HTC 10. Will update this when the crashes stop. Also, the themes need a revamp. The latest style keyboard is seriously ICS??? We're 5 design generations beyond that.

This has definitely lost its luster not very customizable. Needs more themes. You would think as long as this has been out they would have more. samsung galaxy s4. Hasn't been updated since November 2014. Makes you wonder.

Used to love this keyboard. I've been using it exclusively on all my devices for several years. Hands down the best keyboard available. The only problem is that every time I upgrade to a new phone (now a Note 4 on Lollipop), the secondary characters are so small, I can hardly see them, even with the size set to max. KB also disappears randomly while typing. Email to developer months ago still unanswered. Hey developer, sell this app to someone who will actually support it.

I have been using Thumb keyboard on every Android phone and tablet I have owned since the app was first released ... you will not find a better Android keyboard anywhere.

This is the best keyboard on Play Store but it's only lacking emojis. If you implement them it's gonna be awesome!

A vast improvement over the stock keyboard; only a couple of things prevent it from getting five stars: no emoji support, and it won't automatically remove a space before a semicolon or colon. (Also for some reason autosuggest doesn't appear when you're using the Google search bar.) Also the "contact us" bit on their website is broken... :/

I originally gave it 5 stars back in 2013. Now its 2015 and still no emoticons. Dropping a star every month till they upgrade.

NEARLY A YEAR WITH A KNOWN PROBLEM, DROPPED BACK TO LOWER RATING. ORIGINAL: I love this keyboard, but because the developer ignores emails and doesn't implement simple fixes, I cannot rate it above 3 stars. For example, over a year and a half ago, I let them know where the '5' key should display ']' for its extended character, it displays '', which is shown elsewhere as well, but correctly invokes the ']' symbol when long-pressed. Developer doesn't seem too concerned with quality, the way I would expect. I will reevaluate after next update, if it ever happens!

After using this keyboard for several years, I finally had to give it up and go back to the stock one. The keyboard had started lagging excessively, and duplicating the first letter of random words often. It's a shame there have been no updates released for over a year. I originally purchased way back in Oct 2012 and have used it up until now... Guess I can't be too upset over a couple bucks, but I wouldn't buy it now.

My MM upgrade killed this app. It used to be a five plus star app.Now just drops off constantly. My absolute, hands down, favorite keyboard. I NEED backspace....who doesn't. That is just one tiny feature on this amazingly customizable keyboard . PLEASE PLEASE fix this NOW. WE NEED it back!

This keyboard is beautiful, I have the extra row of keys enabled. However, I never use the black bar devoted to punctuation and autosuggestions. Landscape I can hardly see the text box. I'd love to ditch that bar... it's holding back the 5th star. Hitting N rather than space was a problem out of the gate, but I raised the height of the bottom row a little in the settings, GOOD TO GO!

I switched to Thumb Keyboard to get the customizable thumb layouts for portrait and landacape. Love the level of customization, including custom keys and text shortcuts (for my username, email address, etc.); its amazing. I usually prefer to tap, but this would get five stars if there were an option to swipe as well. EDIT: Needs emoji support!

This review is for both versions of the keyboard. The paid and free versions show little difference. The accuracy of this is not good enough to keep using. It suffers badly because it almost always inputs the letter n whenever the space bar is tapped no matter how careful you are. Also, the row of pop up buttons at tthe top of the screen are useless. They disappear before you can find the key and touch them! Get Swiftkey instead. It's a LOT better and faster.

Was a good keyboard. Purchased it and no updates. Doesn't even support emojii. Sent developer an email no response no update no nothing.. Stay away and go with SwiftKey. Much better and free

I used this on my S3 and my Note3. I just recently updated to 5.0 and this crashes so quickly that I can't even send a report about the issue without it popping up 5 times to tell me it crashed again. This keyboard app is on the more expensive side of keyboard apps, this is inexcusable. UPDATE YOUR APP!!!!
