Mississippi meets TANZANIA

Was good until I updated. But, I cant see any words, phrases or proverbs since the last two updates. Also, only "Karibu"comes up everyday repeatedly. What's the issue here?

I love it but since I updated, there's nothing new in the app, it's always the same word that appears, I don't have my daily word anymore... I hope that u will be able to fix that soon, I wanna learn new things ☺ Thanks

Too hard for beginners, the daily phrases are for advanced

What is like me

I am currently working in Tanzania and am trying to learn swahili. I have tried all the apps and found this was the best fit for me. A new word each day is a good way to learn. I hate adds and don't mind supporting the developer as I use this daily, so I paid to remove ads. However there was an issue and despite successful payment, they weren't removed. I emailed the developer and they were very quick to update the app and rectify the problem. 5 star app and 5 star service.

This app works great to build your vocabulary and learns useful and interesting phrases and proverbs. The pronunciation feature doesn't work that great for me, it just flys through the pronunciation that's why only four stars. I also like that you can mark word/phrases to save to your favorites.

Literally unusable.

Excellent initiative but 4 stars because of the pronunciation. I've heard people speak swahili before and it's nothing like that:-( :-P

Great teaching tool

"Speech is initializing... Please try again later... " when later? It's always like that. Doesn't worth it without hearing the word.

Good, correct Swahili (as I'm told by a native speaker) and a nice learning format -- but as the previous reviewer said, speech output doesn't work! It repeatedly displays: "Speech is initializing... please try later." I am using Android on a Samsung Galaxy S4. Anybody know a settings tweak to let this app speak?

Like the daily suggestion that pops up. However when is the sound fix being released. It's been a few days now

For casual learning of Swahili. But the computer voice often leaves me wondering...

Audio not working for Samsung Gs5. Phrases have not been added to the phrases section. And may I suggest simple example sentences for the daily words? Other than that the app is very helpful in building vocabulary so thank you

This is an awesome app, always nice to learn something new. Even gives you examples in sentences. Please give us more sentences though
