About Autism Speech DiegoSays

This application represents a quick and practical form of teaching your child the basics of communication. The communication is the most important element for increasing the independence and progress of your child. This application uses the basic needs of your child in order to improve his communication skills.
How it works:
The children must push in the action button first (Ej: I want) and then push in one of the possible options (Ej. food)

Remember that the persistence is you’re best allied. You must encorage your son to use this tool whenever he needs to communicate. The practice will make the rest.

If you are following a diet free of gluten nd casein, then the bread and other elements, present in the application, are versions free of gluten and casein such as rice bread.
The DiegoSaysPro version has many other communicative elements.

Push a button and it repeats and repeats and repeats in the most annoying high pitched robot voice ever known to man! Didnt do much for my 4yr old but annoyed the **** out of me, my hubby and our 9yr old.

This horribly made app will help teach your child how to say "I want" and that's pretty much it. Just read the description, the makers clearly don't even know English. You are forced to pay if you want your child to learn an extra 2 or 3 phrases, and they are all "taught" in an inhuman robot voice. This app took 5 minutes to make and is clearly just trying to make a quick buck from the parents of special needs children. Stay away!!

My son loves this app and it does assist with speech because after he demostrates what he wants I have him try to repeat the words and he is starting to get it. Thank you so much!

This is a good starting point. At least it is something, but this app still needs some work. Problems: 1) Only seems to work on smartphones (i.e small screens), and does not re-size the icons or words correctly on tablets (tested on Vizio VTAB1008 and Samsung Galaxy Tab). This app is only really useful to an autistic child on a large screen like a tablet, so please get cracking on fixing this. 2) The $19.95 price. JABtalk is free and does what this is supposed to do. What does this do compared to JABtalk that makes it worth $19.95? I don't see it. 3) And this is a nit-pick I know, but get a different main app icon. That poorly drawn face makes this entire app look poorly thought out and immature in design, right from the get go. Its creepy too.

I tried it out first just to see how it work. Lucky I did, every 3rd push of a sign came up with a link to the "pro" £6 version.
