About Skin Temp for Microsoft Band

The app allows you to see your skin temperature in celsius or fahrenheit. It uses the Microsoft Band skin temperature sensor to read the temperature. You can also save the skin temperature readings and view them again later.

Note: Your skin temperature is a few degrees colder than your body temperature.

You need to have a Microsoft Band watch to use the app.
IMPORTANT: This app requires the latest version of the Microsoft Health app to work.

I've read a few reviews commenting that this doesn't work on the band 2. As with most things I thought I should check it out for myself. I downloaded the app on my phone (Sony Xperia Z3 Compact) whilst connected (via Bluetooth) to my band 2 and it automatically added (Virus scanned and uploaded) and started working without me having to do anything. I thought I would also point out that if you are expecting core body temp the only way is to put the band up your bum.... It's a skin temp app people!

On a Microsoft band 1 works as advertised. Temperature readings seem normal but can't really test the accuracy. Just wondering why Microsoft didn't include this in their app? A reading every 10, 15, or 20 minuets couldn't of been that big a battery drain.

Said I was 110 degrees. It's just not accurate. But a great thought. Hope someone gets it to work.

Don't know if this is the apps fault or the sensor, but it gives me a body temp of 33 degrees celsius...

Needs identify and location, presemuly for ads. Otherwise it does what it says it does. Uninstalled.

S70%

It is either very inaccurate or alternatively I am dead and just don't know about it yet.

by N####:

Would be nice if it had a tile for the band and saved the information to compare through the day or week and ability to save to a program for monotoring like the steps and or calorie counter.
