I'm a Class A Machinist and Program with MasterCam. This app save me so much time from looking up Feeds and Speeds in catalogs or the Macining Data Handbook. I use this app nearly every day to improve old programs just by increasing RPM and Feed rates to what they should be instead of the old and slow way of doing things. I got on board with MasterCams Dynamic milling and use this app with the HSM tuned on and they go hand and hand wonderfully, and I wouldn't go backwards if I had too! THANKS FSWIZARD!!!!

T70%
by T####:

Hands down the best feed and speed app. I use it all the time at work and have used it to show up the programmers and their almighty "mastercam". Thank you so much for this app. Worth every penny!!

T70%
by T####:

Could we get 455 custom and 465 stainless added to materials and possibly Peak also Thanks

T70%
by T####:

One of the best tools that I own. Works great for production machining. Especially when the machines have limited horsepower or I'm limited by the setup. Its a tool you should own if you program.

Can you add more nickel alloys A182 GR. F1, F2, F11, F22, F5, F9, F91? Also titanium beta 21s, and stellite?

Great app use alot for a starting point in programs

This is by far the most complete app for todays machinist. My sincere thanks goes out to the developer. Keep up the fantastic work you put into this project.

One suggestion pls. Would u put an Incremental option for Bolt Hole Calculator and Bolt Hole Particial. Thanks again for your hard work.

Could you please include the material Hastelloy or Hastex . We machine a lot of this mtrl. It would be greatly appreciated! everything else is cool.i just think for the price it should have that!

This app is awesome! Thank you so much for working hard to accurately put together so much information. As a Machinist Apprentice, this info is invaluable!

Just use it, a definite game changer! One request, any chance to get a percentage option for WOC/stepover? My cam uses percentage and its a pain having to whip out the calculator to convert, would be nice to aito populate based on cutter diameter and stepover percentage in the app!

This is the most comprehensive machining app I've used so far. A few additions would make it perfect, the drill, tap and screw tables would be better if they went larger, at least up to 50mm. I work in the UK so primarily work in metric, would be nice to have the option of a drill chart that is based off mm (mm on the far left) and has 0.1 mm increments instead of 0.25, 6.2 and 6.3mm bits are common 6.25 not so much. Would be nice to have the Imperial tapping charts split into BSW, BA, UNC, UNF ect. The FSWizard could also do with options for BSW, BA, BSP and NPT taps. Thanks for making an excellent app, if you could add in an ISO bearing fit chart and Key-way charts I'd be able to throw out my engineers handbook.

I just started CNC machining and this app has been a lifesaver. With old school machining it is easy to play around with feeds by just the feel of it, but with CNC you will just have a pile of broken tools if your feeds are wrong. Just one thing I was curious about. Could you guys put Face Mills on the app?

V70%

I've tried almost all the other apps for feeds and speeds, this one makes them all obsolete. Just buy it you won't regret it .

Do you have any information about how to run magnesium?

I've used this app to cut time of prog. and extend tool life tremendously, I was just wondering if their could be one more tool added to the list I use porting tools as well as Parker tools and was wondering if that could be included in the next update, thank you

Speed and feed provided by this app may seem aggressive at first but once you learn to trust it you will see that its right every time. Sure it's a bit pricey but so were your fancy digital mics. Keep up the great work Zero_Divide, your work here is genius.

The information given here will give you an edge and lead to increased production, I was a tortoise feed wise before and this gave me confidence and increased earning potential . Best app ever, I hope you continue to keep the materials updated, I can tell you stay on top of things and I appreciate it! I would like to know the rpm and feed when you're plunging with the endmill.

Been a job shop/cnc machinist for 25 years. This app is one of my best tools. If you do not use this app, you are wasting valuable time.

K70%
by K####:

The only issue I found were some glaring spelling mistakes. This app is, hands down, the best of its kind on the market! UPDATE: I just found a major bug with tapping w/ cobalt taps w/ a coating. RPM is WAY too high when calculating for any material. The real difference between HSS and Cobalt is less than 10%. 9000+ RPM in 6061??? The cutting speeds given for tapping can not be trusted for any material. Great app for everything else. Tapping needs work.

U70%

Good reference. In the end you need to use the tool manufacturer's recommendations.

I've tried several of these types of apps and this one blows them away. I use this everyday at work. It has reduced machine time on some parts by more than half. For eg. , I was running an index cutter at 50 ipm/2400 rpm when I've should've been running it 220 ipm/5800rpm. So much easier than getting the huge Machinist's out and figuring out the right speeds and feeds. Plus it has an override so you don't go over the max rpm/ipm of your machine. So many features. Can't describe what a lifesaver this was.

As comprehensive as one could hope for on a phone. Anything more would be too much. Complements the desktop version well.

Almost all of the speed and feed calculators work to some degree. This one seems to be actually usable and easy to understand. It needs help on each field and a picture to help slow noobs like myself understand just what the parameter is and how it relates to the CNC machine. Other than that, I have two cuts in 48 hours that are technically perfect with no broken endmills. I look forwards to using the other parts of the app as they seem particularly useful.

Worth the money! Saves so much time. Everything is laid out perfectly. Thank you so much I've been waiting for an app like this! Although I'm not sure it wants to dial a full 7 digit phone number when entering data. Please fix.

Great app for machinist. Best part is the material data base. Would like to see a true position calculator if possible.

D70%

I really like the comprehensive listings of materials. A nice addition would be appropriate depth of pecks in drilling cycles.

The only things that would be nice to see would be a drill point calculator for different diameters and angles as well as a threadmill calculator. This is the only machinist calculator you need to buy!

Love this app. I was looking for something like this for the last year. Super convenient and easy to use. The ability to just pick the work piece material and have it auto calculate from tool size/material/coating is amazing.

I have been a machinist over 45 years, a cnc programer machinist over 35. I work in a prototype shop making one of akind parts. I work with lots of different types of metals. I can't remember all the different settings for speeds and feeds. This app gives me a good starting point. This is the most extensive, informative app out there. It is well suited for the beginner or pro. Thanks for a great app!

K70%
by K####:

This app is amazing! Only one I found that allows you to select the material that you are working on rather than inputting numbers from a separate table. I am a student machinist and I do not know things like the ipt for different materials by heart so this app is perfect. The way the UI is setup allows for quick recalculation for different depths of cut. I definitely recommend. The one feature that would be great would be an option for extended tool life rather than the absolute fastest rpm and table feed
