This app needs a lot of work. When finding a doctor, you click to look at Dr. details, it takes you back to the home page to start over completely. This is a very time consuming waste of time. This app is meant for a quick view, that's all. Make a disclaimer that the techs working on provider search found good drugs, so they left it as is - terrible. Quick look, OK except for crowding. Anything else - useless. Not worth my time.

When trying to log in always tells me there is a connection problem. Haven't been able to log in since the update

It is so hard to make a payment with these apps. Every other company that i know, welcomes payments, but this company.

Fingerprint support needed. The list of urgent Care centers near you are not up to date. Apart from minor issues, it works great. Way to go!

App works smoothly, but fails in one key aspect: it doesn't let you search for facilities outside California. Or rather it doesn't provide results for anything outside California. (Are there really no Urgent Care facilities within 100 miles of downtown Chicago?!) I work in Chicago for a California-based international firm which uses BSC for it's U.S. employees. I had hoped to have the app handy if I should ever need urgent care for my family, but that does not appear to be an option. After enough poking around, the app finally sent me to their main website to find a facility, which is something I could have done without the app.

New app is definitely better than the previous one. What would make it even better is to add fingerprint based login so I dont have to remember the password all the time.

The latest update has made the app login very fast. Finding Doctors is also easy using the new map feature

Every time I navigate away from you screen it makes me sign back in and it's getting a little irritating however the rest of the features work pretty good

In a hurry? CALL THEM. Using this app, while you are waiting for SOMETHING to happen, the entire app is locked up and you can't do Anything. Want to check (on standardized insurance codes) to see if you're covered? It DOESN'T DO THAT. So the real question is, why bother?

Slow and at times never even loads. Why even have an app if it doesn't function. Just pure frustration.

View Temp ID PDF didn't work. It just shows a circle and then goes away. Nothing happens.

Opens...but wont let me pay my bill unless i go to internet...useless for me on supplemental plan

Worst app ever u can't even login

searched using my plan type to find docs who take my insurance. didnt even have to log in to my member area, just put in my search parameters and found who i needed to find.

I don't use it often and my phone already has a lock on it

Some of the load times do seem a little long but it's not like I'm pulling my hair out waiting for it to load. I'm able to see my claims, copayment maximum and deductible, which is really what is important to me. I'm also able to get a description of my benefits. All in all it's a handy little app if you're like me and you just broke both of your legs and would like to keep up on how much it's going to cost you.

This app crashes each time I try to open it. I have reported it numerous times. It seems they are not interested in providing a working app. They updated the app on 2/19/16 and it still crashes, can't even log in. This is a totally useless app.

Too many issues with it hanging up. Can make payments, redirect you to regular website, could have done it myself to save time

Finally, the Android Marshmallow crash has been fixed. I increased my rating, but the app is still amazingly slow. If Blue Shield can make it faster, it might be a 4 or 5 star app. LG G4

Complete garbage. Incompetent like blue shield... Most expensive insurance and worst experience ever.

No longer crashes on boot on my Nexus 5X, so this is already a vast improvement. Interface is good so far; pretty clean and functional.

I like having access to my account, but I can't open my card on my phone.
