I couldn't record my toddler's swimming lesson today without my cell phone telling me there wasn't enough space..i found myself having to delete some of my pics and when that was still not enough..I went to see which apps i could delete when i found this app installed WITHOUT my permission! After reading these reviews I realized I could've kept the pics i deleted Thanks a lot! If I could give it a zero I would! Samsung you should've known how much space this app needed and therefore ASKED your consumers.

You can disable this ap. Go into settings under ap management. Of course, it will pop up and tell you that other aps might not work, but only the ones that this is tied to. So anyone wanting to get rid of it because Samsung just forced it on us, here you go. And for the record, folks, when you hit continue on a system update, you are in fact giving them permission to download whatever to your phone. Fine print, read it.

100 mil forced downloads and average rating below 2! I think you should be listed in Guinness book of records for the lowest rating app/download ratio ever. And you also deserve the 2nd listing for the least caring developer in the history... Now be cool and provide an Uninstall button. I guarantee that your star rating (and uninstall rate) to soar to record heights, immediately.

I didn't even know when or why this is on my phone. My phone has been low on space and I was trying to figure out what was taking up all the space, but now I know. I want this app off my phone and I want it gone soon. A company like Samsung or Microsoft should never install something on their customers device without their consent because not only does it leave dissatisfaction, but it can also cause trust problems between the customer and the company. Please give the option to uninstall this.

1st, at top of page uncheck automatic updates... Now, in your phone go to Settings > under Applications go to Application Manager > All tab & scroll to BlurbCheckout > 1st, clear data > 2nd, Disable > 3rd Force Stop... this won't Uninstall the app, but will reduce the amount of space it uses. But make sure in here you uncheck automatic updates. As of Oct 10th, 2015... We won't use what we don't want to use. It's pretty clear, no one wants this. Except the 14k employees you made write a good

I will like this app removed. At least have some respect for the ones you call customers. For all i have read no one had a choice. It should be a choice for us to keep, add or delete it specially when no one helped me to pay my phone or the bill when i purchased. I have never appreciate when someone tries to make or takes choices for me. I'm easygoing when it comes to trying new app cause everyone deserves a chance (in my personal opinion) but...it must be something of my choice. You know freewill !

It's not just this one app. There are several more yes it may only be 4?? Kb for this one and for the next one but they add up quickly. Everytime I go to do an update I've got to move stuff around to get the update to go. It's like Gmail I have 3 different apps for Gmail emails. And can't uninstall any of them. So when I get one email I get three notifications from three different apps. Why? I'm tired of getting apps on my phone that I do not want yes I can over look them but if I don't want it why can't

Wish buying power had the power to decide which pre-installed apps they want to keep/remove. At least to be able to permanently disable the app so it doesn't run in the background or use up too much space would be a great option for users. Sad I purchased my device for over $600 and can't control all the apps on it.

1. What is the Blurb Checkout app? The Blurb Checkout app gives customers the ability to purchase a book built using Samsung’s Story Album app. #2. Why is this app on my device? This app is provided by Samsung as part of their Story Album app and comes pre-loaded on select Samsung devices (the Galaxy S4, S5, Note 3 and Note 4). #3. How can I delete/uninstall this app? At the moment, you cannot delete/uninstall the Checkout app since it is part of the pre-loaded Story Album app provided by Samsung.

If samsung respected me, someone whos been PAYING GOOD MONEY for your products for years. You would allow me to make my own choices. (Like iPHONE will be my next choice.) I understand sales, your need, your WANT to make MORE money. I am a LOYAL customer, ive recommended you to others. If LOYALTY & WORD OF MOUTH are paying your bills. Why are you turning your back on us???

I want this app off my phone. I can't even download things I want o MY phone because of all the BS apps that have been put on MY phone without my permission or desire. This is making me want to go back to an IPHONE because I had more space. Even with a memory card I'm out of space and the battery drains and I only have 3 games downloaded. I don't even have any music because I have no space. Ughhhhh!!

I am in agreement with everyone that has reviewed this app. Downloading this app discreetly to show 100 million downloads without everyone's permission doesn't help your cause as is evident by the reviews. I have to draw the conclusion that you are not interested in what your consumer wants. You would allow an uninstall option if you really cared or were listening to your customers.

M70%
by M####:

This app installed itself without permission, uses to much space, and has no install button. This is an app that most people do not use, and I can see that you're paying people to 5 star it to try and save your reputation. In the end, if most people want a book, they will purchase the real thing. Please listen to your customers and give us the option to remove this app if we want to.

100 Million + Downloads? Pretty lame way to lay claim I think. I own a Samsung for a reason. I like it! What I don't like is being forced to have an App that I don't want or use. The only thing it's good for (for me personally) is taking up valuable space on my phone. If you want to keep your customers, it would probably be a good idea to listen to them. Jus Sayin!!!

I don't know what to rate this other than the smallest rating I can give it on the grounds that I did not choose this, have no option to delete it, and it was put on my phone without asking my permission. I can not tolerate apps that for any reason push themselves on me, load without permission, and have no option for deletion. I realize that my phone company has done this, and considering your very low rating, space used in my phone, etc. That I WILL BE DISCUSDING THIS MATTER WITH THEM ALSO. RATING: -1

I did not install this app or nor do I want to. IF I WANTED TO PURCHASE A *@$# BOOK..... I WOULD OF PURCHASED ONE FROM THE KINDLE STORE. I do not know how and when "Blurb Checkout" got installed on my phone, but the same way you got it install.....is going to be same way you uninstall......ASAP

Hey Samsung, I know you've got awesome products and services, but I'd prefer to find them through your emails/newsletters/website, not downloaded without my permission to my device. If it wasn't preloaded, I might be able to rate it based on the quality of the app... people don't usually download 1 star apps so you're probably shooting yourself in the foot in the long run... just a thought.

If I needed it or wanted it I'd install it. Switched from iPhone to Samsung and have realized that there's something to the iPhone madness. If you'd not force bloatware on me you'd keep a customer. Having to do this to line your pockets is sad. Just make a great app and a great OS and people will want it and/or but it...

M70%

I don't want this app, I don't need this app. It wasn't here before and now it is. I've already got a ton of junk apps I have no interest in and can't get rid of (like NFL). Samsung, you need to quit giving us apps we can't uninstall. Give us credit for being reasonably intelligent people. Afterall, we use an android product & not an iPhone.

Samsung should install and update these apps in ota updates, then people will stop complaining lol, btw I've never found a use for this app! Please enlighten us samsung... Why? (3 star for not bothering me)

I hate all these stupid apps that we are constantly forced to use. These take up so much space on my phone, I can't even update my other apps anymore! If you're going to force us to use apps, then at least give us back the same amount of space the app uses up...

Only gave it a 1 because I could not give a zero. I want to be able to remove this and other apps like this from my phone. My S4 is all but unusable now as it is filled with junk apps like this. Had Samsung 's for past 4 upgrades but considering iPhone if this not resolved before my next upgrade in the Autumn

I want this app removed as well. I agree with the over 68,000 pleople. I have been a a diehard Samsung customer, not just with phones. Don't get rid of customers because of BS like this. Think again about downloading anything without knowledge of the consumer. Your stockholders, I'm sure, love us all buying phones, tv's, refrigerator's, speaker's, thermostats, etc.. I think you understand what I'm saying. With social media it just takes one domino.

M70%
by M####:

This was in your privacy and policies " If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please refrain from using our Website or accessing our Services." Well I DON'T agree so remove this app NOW. I am contacting your company as we speak, this is Ludacris, I'm so happy I will be switching to an iPhone soon and won't have to worry about this. Also it states that anyone under 13 needs permission, well I have a minor with an Android phone and they have been given this app as well.

As with many others here, didn't realise it had been installed. Neither asked for it nor wanted it. Why force things on users that they don' t need. Why not give them the option and flexibility to fully utilise the tablet to suit their needs and lifestyle. You lose credibility and, ultimately, customers when you start dictating what goes on a tablet.

Y70%

Love my photo album app but if this drains our battery. Hey shouldn't this be the ppls choice? Your gonna get slots haters by forcing an app on them. That's all I'm gonna say. Your not gonna get sales up either. This is a fantastic way to bring em down! Look at the ratings. I'll go on social media and share that this app downloads other apps without choice that isn't good for our battery! Let the ppl decide. Hahaha

YOU SAY, "app that comes preloaded on the new Galaxy S4 phone." I ASK, so why is this app on my Galaxy S 8.4 tablet. - It clearly states in your blurb that it is for a Galaxy S4 phone NOT for any other phone or tablet [unless, of course, that is an oversight by your blurb writer]. I DON'T WANT THIS APP. I have disabled it but would much rather it wasn't taking up space on my device, so please tell me how to un-preload it.

Why do we need to have yr apps installed on our ph. I buy the phone. I pay for the plan. I should decide what apps go on it. At least allow it be uninstalled. Or u give us a new ph with enough memory to carry all these wasteful apps. Im having to delete apps i actually want to make room for this garbage

M70%
by M####:

The fact that this was pushed to my phone without even a warning undermines my trust in Samsung and results in this 1 star rating, since I have no desire to open, use, and review the app itself. I would never have installed it if I'd been given the option.

M70%
by M####:

Please remove!! I didn't ask for this app ( please stop) adding apps without my permission this actually should be against law , invading people's private space( just not right)!! you guys really need to stop this mess, taking up vital space that you may have for something else; now here you go taking it up. And one more thing why can't you uninstall it, you guys up to something you need to stop it and give me back my memory space. I love Samsung phones they're great ! The best out there, stop with the apps

I'm done with these companies forcing apps down my throat, collecting data, and granting permissions all with out my explicit consent. I hear Windows 10 is going to be pretty amazing, and Apple has actually been surpassing you in a number of areas. My next phone will NOT be an Android.

I don't want this garbage app on my phone. But the there is no way of taking it off. I will never even try this app not even out of curiosity. This is an absolutely pathetic way to get people to use this app. Im telling you right now developers, we all hate it and we hate you. Just to be clear we hope your company goes under because of this.

Go into your settings and pick your application manager find this app and click on it. When you get into it, it will show you 2 buttons force stop and disable. I force stopped it and cleared the data of it and then disabled it so that it isn't running.. Hope that helps some of you until they fix it and let us Uninstall it.

Hey samsung! All these apps you put on our phones that we can't uninstall, let alone even want, makes an android user convert to apple products. We don't want this crap. It takes up too much room and too much processing speed. Get rid of it!

M70%

I do not want this app in my phone. There is no option to uninstall. I would like to choose the apps I want not samsung or google play. This app is wasting memory I could use for something else. As the owner of MY phone I should be able to remove this app that I will NEVER use. Would give zero stars if possible.

It is not right to force your apps on to your consumers. You have installed a lot of junk apps on to MY phone without any means of uninstalling them. Because of this I am unable to install apps I want. I've bought Samsung phones before and always had good luck with them. Not anymore!

Get this app off my phone. I didnot ask for it so stop putting apps on my phone i did not ask for or do not want. U can get this off your phone to free up space. Go to settings then application manager then all apps look for blurb dis enable clear data and cache it will say could effect your phone but so far it hasnt mine.

I have my settings set so that no apps can update without my approval or knowledge. This app somehow can override that feature. I find this to be inappropriate and unacceptable. I stopped using apple products for my own reasons and after many years im considering switching back to apple. Fix this!! Very unimpressed and dissatisfied right now.

Didn't even know this was on my phone until I looked at my recently updated apps. Can't even Uninstall the app that I Never wanted because it's not an option. Half of my phone is full of Samsung clutter that they basically force you to install on your device and can't delete or uninstall.

M70%
by M####:

...install crap that people don't want and don't give them the option to remove it. I'll be buying an iPhone or an HTC when my current contract runs out. This app should have been an option and not built in to the system. Take a look at the number of negative comments about this Samsung! Time to think about a way to remove this in a system update.
