BMI is a value derived from the mass (weight) and height of an individual. The BMI is defined as the body mass divided by the square of the body height, and is universally expressed in units of kg/m2, resulting from mass in kilograms and height in metres.
It is also known as Quetelet index and widely used in medical field. It'll give you the exact idea of your body, fat, muscle and bones. According to that it will give you the result that you are underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese.
To maintain normal weight BMI, you have to create proper diet plan which will give you enough calories for your daily routine. On the other hand you can also create your daily exercise schedule or join a gym for daily fitness.
