This is our most significant release since the app launched in the beginning of 2017.
Improved navigation to increase speed to answer:
User feedback highlighted the need for a browse function alongside the search capability. We have introduced a new global navigation which includes the addition of a specialty browse; recently viewed topics and calculators.
Evidence Enhancements:
Addition of Cochrane Clinical Answers (CCAs) and Important updates and 250+ evidence-based calculators.

Excellent. I had used the online version through an institution before, but subscription ran out & there was no app. Cost me over €200, but it's brilliant. I'm surprised more people don't talk about it or use it. Very easy to use, good amount of info, simplified & easy to understand. You can't search the calculators, but I see that's coming soon. The info may not be detailed enough about certain things if you're specialising in a particular area, but absolutely great resource. Well worth the money I think. Better than Oxford Handbook app in many ways once you have good clinical skills.

Great content and more importantly this new bmj best practice provides a better overall experience than the old counterpart. It is fast reacting and takes a smaller size in storage. However the app lack of manual update.

This app and the BMJ best practice service is just absolutely brilliant, I have to say. For someone used to terrible lectures where you absorb about half of the information, to have something like this at your fingertips is awesome. I often use this over the Oxford Handbook of Medicine because of how well laid out and easy to search is. Only thing is I wish you could search in the calculators tab, since scrolling can take a while.
