Did not like that it wanted access to files videos and photos on phone. And would close if I did not Grant the permission. For I do not have any photos of my plants or around my home. I am just getting started planting in a window sill. And do not and will not Grant access to files that are on my phone. If I want to upload a picture then I should be asked if I would like to share it with the app at that moment for only that picture. Not all my files and photos I don't need someone sifting through them looking for plants. My phone photos should be kept private at all times. And I don't care what an individual person that is trying to represent the app has to say bottom line is it is asked to be able to view all pictures and photos on my phone. And by accepting that what is in black and white will be the final outcome anyone can say what they want to and say we're only going to look at plants that you have pictures of or videos for any file documents.

Good app, overall. Would be great if you could add an additional planting of a variety of a plant. Currently I would have to add a separate entry, or put it into a "second" garden set.

I NEVER use an app to take photos, & the fact that the app is unusable without giving media permission is beyond inexcusable! Can you not leave it accessible without such?

M70%

Very useful app to catalogued your garden veggies. The only thing I would ask to be different with the app is the ability to share what you record with someone that has the app. To reduce duplication of records.

Really wanted an app that would remind me when to water/fertilize my plants. Sure, I could make a note on when I do these things, but then I would need to remember how long between watering/fertilizing and to actually go through and read all my notes. It's decent, but not very intuitive.

I like the app. I like being able to take notes concerning my garden and each one of my plants. I like how the notes can be combined into a journal which includes your photos. I like how the weather forecast is also included (to I can see if God's giving me free rain). I even like how it lets you know about companion plants; which I feel will really help me next year. I do wish there was a calendar that let you know when to expect harvest instead of manually entering in a task. I have begun using natural pesticide and I would like to have the option in the notes like watering, planting, fertilizer, etc. Also whenever I take landscape photos, I get kicked out of notes. I also agree that it should allow you to plant multiples of one plant in a garden. I'd also like a feature when you look thru your photos, you can focus in on one plant progress (kinda like the journal). But all in all, I enjoy the app because I love to take photos of my garden and see my plants grow. It helps me to BOLO pests because now I know what to look for. It also helps me with common issues with my veggies, like blossom rot. This year will be the first year I keep track of my harvest thanks to this app!

Love the app. My only suggestion for improvement would be some way to export every thing for the season. If something happens to the phone, then you've lost it all. Maybe a summary PDF that can be emailed?

I love this app. Just started using it today. Very easy to work. So nice having everything in one place. I can add other plants into this, be it seed starting, or starters from another brand; editing is awesome!; plus all of the many varieties that are listed ( choose tomatoes, then choose your variety ) of bonnie plants provide all the important information listed for you! Only one thing that needs tweeking...when you take a new picture for your plants, it takes the photo, but you have to go into your gallery and import it. Should be able to load directly from the app.

C70%
by C####:

How did you refer me to the "nearest stores" in North Jersey and on Long Island. I was asked for permission for access to my information. 19148 includes a Home Depot and a Lowes, yet the "nearest stores" are over a hundred miles away. How does that make sense? Perhaps you will figure out how this happened.

Doesn't provide varieties I'm using, I just installed it about 30 mins ago, looked through the list, told it generic plants I have in my garden, came to play store to see similar apps and it's already asking to update...

Worked great for a season but I did not find a way to keep track for a second season. I liked being able to add pictures and comments. However it only adds the day's date not the month.

Can't use the app without granting permission to your camera. I just want to get info about crops- not store pics in an app. My phone has a gallery app for that.

C70%
by C####:

Worked great last year. This year the catalog is missing very common items like tomatoes, basil and cucumbers...

M70%

It doesn't work on my phone. Just a blank screen.

Mostly for herbs and veggies, seems cool so far but just started using it.

I've only started playing with this but i like it so far, EXCEPT that i really wish the planting advice specified WHEN to plant.

I like it but I have some questions where do I go to type in my questions?

i can keep track of my plants and any activity with them. however the problem I have is I cannot scan the square code to recieve more info on the plants. And the information is very limited. As a new gardener, the help I need has not been on the app. If you could have this app access the internet for more info i would give a higher rating. also why cant i scan the barcode on the info picks that came with my plants? some of the symbols that are on their do not specify what they mean?

Only really helps with the plants they provide. Nothing really to input or info on other seeds/plants.

I do not want to give this app access to my media files so it won't even start. You should not require we share all of our pictures with you that is a privacy issue and I do not trust companies to not violate my privacy

I've grown gardens all my life, this by far the best app out there, thanks for creating, GREAT JOB

It's very basic. Was hoping for something more interactive.

I would like to sync between devices and have planting dates provided by area.

D70%

I really like this app but can't figure out how to save my notes. I've tried several times (and ways) but they always disappear. When I go to the calendar and click on the highlighted date where I made the note the plant is there but the note isn't.

W70%
by W####:

This is an okay tracking system for your garden. The one problem I have is that you can only track one plant date per garden variety. I have many plants in succession and cannot track the followon sow dates.

D70%
by D####:

This app is ok, but it could be alot better. For instance if you tap a single button it removes it from your garden, not cool, if I inputted the plant info myself it is completely gone. Or why can I not access the notes that I made on a plant, while viewing that plant. You have to go all the way back to the dashboard ??? Also the incorporated weather is a good idea, but it's way off for my area, sometimes by more than 15°. With those fixes I'll give you 5 stars.

Draw a map of your yard on 8x11 sheet of paper, draw gardens(beds) and number them. Add photo of map to the plant catalog, call it ( A map of garden) so its first in list of catalog. Document your plants by number of the bed they are in. Its a work around till they add GPS, there ya go...

M70%

There is not much to select from ex mango. Wish it would also give you more information about the plants itself as well.

M70%

I wish it would show the stuff I have planted that aren't in the catalog. I also wish i could more easily see my pictures with plant description. Can't find any kind of calendar.

I know about the company, but this does no one any good if they can't find Bonnie Plants at their local nurseries. Other information in this program is ridiculously inaccurate or incorrect. I especially love the one about weeds ! ! You have no idea about fighting weeds ! ! You can come to my garden and hoe, hoe, hoe all you want ! ! ! Try dealing with a constant massive epidemic of purslane ! ! ! I've done everything in the book and had to make things up as I go along .. even torching them. Flame On !!!

The app is great for learning how to grow the plant but it should have a category to search by what time of the year is best to plant and when things are ready to be harvested. I am completely new to gardening with no experience and it would be nice to find an app to help me.

O70%
by O####:

I have tried several garden apps and so far this is the best. I can add my own plants that aren't in their catalog and I can even snap my own photos from the app and attach them to certain plants. I would LOVE to see social media share options so I can share pics of my garden (am I missing it?). And also more organic growing info, as well as more educational articles in general. I'm sure Bonnie will get there eventually as future versions become available, but like I said, this has been the best app so far!
