Worst epub reader. Crashes constantly. Epub version can't always be opened with non-booktopia readers and forces you to use their own versions. now trying to get my money back on puchased books because I simply can't read them. Absolute rubbish.

The reader is unusable. You cannot enlarge the print in any way. You cannot zoom in or out. Wasted money buying an ebook that cannot be read in any other app (including their own). Submitted a request for refund. No reply. Do not download or buy ebooks from these guys!! Problems detailed in other user reviews, for the last few years (wtf) are accurate.

Get some free ebooks, they say! Now read them on our app! Ugh. No thanks. No zooming of text, no customisation of background for people with photosensitivity, no font enlargement. This is the worst e-reader that I have ever come across, and I have been reading ebooks since the year 2000!

Seems to log-in, download and open book OK but lack of settings is really odd and annoying. The default font size is too big but can't be changed.

App doesn't load prior purchases and crashes repeatedly. I regret purchasing anything from booktopia. A complete waste of money

Won't let me log in. In fact, the whole store is completely screwed. Just tried to buy a book, and even though my patient was confirmed, it's now telling me that I need to contact them to confirm the confirmation. Screw you, Booktopia and screw you, Google for losing the copyright to a book series I loved reading and purchasing on your app.

My original iPhone 1 had better apps than this. Glitchy, slow, awful design, straight up doesn't work.

Cant even find the book Im after even though I know its there. Had great difficulty logging in. False messages were popping up. Couldnt log out so just shut the phone down......sigh i cant figure why you are even bothering with this app it doesnt work. I consider it bad for business. Well this was my first foray into ebooks. Not a good start.i know have 2 books on my bookshelf. It wont let me read the 2nd one. Why?! I had to fumble through to get this far. It makes me open through playstore. Why?

Worst ereader ive ever seen. Was able to use the app for 15 mins unable to do anything with the settings, as soon as i turned the first page the app crashed and ive been unable to open it since and that was 3 days ago. Removed the app. Worst app ever

Have ordered books through Booktopia- awesome. Thought I would download this to see how it would go. Couldn't even Get Books so not sure how it works.

When I bought three ebooks from Booktopia yesterday, I was annoyed to discover that I had to download this Booktopia Reader to download the books. Installation of app and download of books was quick and simple, but I was again annoyed to discover that the epub files would not open in my normal reader (Cool Reader), so I have now put this Booktopia app through a few tests and so far it has worked flawlessly on my 4 year old Nexus 7 android tablet. If I experience any problems in future, I will report back because if we pay for product, the consumer laws mean it must be fit for purpose. Some people's complaints suggest they did not find the menu of the app. A tap on the page you are reading will offer the menu at the bottom of the screen

Like everyone else, app crashes, booktopia doesn't want to fix the issue. Terrible DON'T GET.

I dont like that the words are so tiny and even the slightest touch moves the page

Downloaded a free ebook but the text is way too tiny to read on my device (Samsung Galaxy s2 8") and I can't see any way of increasing the text size.

This app is rubbish. Booktopia is a sham. Never buying books from there again.

Doesn't have an inbuilt dictionary function.

Brought my favorite author with gift voucher. When turning pages will some times revert to contents page then have to try and find page up to. Very very frustrating have wasted gift voucher from son.

Very slow app, it crashes more times than it works. Im so disappointed and have wasted my money on a ebook that i cant read without issues. Trying to get my money back for the ebook

Not impressed. It keeps coming up with an error message saying I have more than one account when I haven't etc so I cannot access the book I bought on Mac via my other devices. Even though it it in the library on the app it says I have to add the other account which I don't actually have. Sigh

Couldn't wait to uninstall. .Google books much better

Slow - does not show where the file is installed. Opens files when you want another application to open it.

books downloaded quick and easy, all appear in my library and can read on any of my Windows or apple devices. Happy!

Very poor app, keeps crashing and you cannot access the e-books purchased. SCAM ALERT!!!!

Don't bother with this, there are so many better readers or just stick to kindle.

I can't read the book I purchased because this reader crashes as soon as I try to open it.

Works well, easily used on tablet or phone. keeps up to date with last page read. No problems downloading boks

Error code 18. I paid for a book. Now I can't even read it.

Pointless can't browse or buy textbooks using this app

I have used booktopia for over a year now. I have never had an issue with it. I has to be one of my favourite aps.

I use a google nexus 5 and have just purchased a book through the booktopia site. The android app shows the books available for download but seems to not add them to the library. As it stands the app simply does not work.

I have just downloaded this app and purchased 4 books, it looks like they are in the library, but i cant get them to open, done google search and cant find answers! Not happy!,,
