Helps you determine a standard point value for a variable point based assignment. So if I have a 10 question multiple choice quiz & all of my quizzes are 30 points, it tells me what the score is without having to do all the math. Works great for when you use leveled tests for different students and the number of questions doesn't match. Basic, but does what I need it to do.
