About Bosch eBike Connect
With the “Bosch eBike Connect” app, you can edit the settings for the Bosch Nyon eBike on-board computer.
You can connect Nyon to your smartphone and edit, store, and synchronize your eBike, ride, and user data. The most important features are listed below. Other features will be integrated in future releases.
So that you always have access to the latest features and improvements, we recommend that you update your Nyon on-board computer to the latest software version. To find out how to update the software on your device, please refer to our FAQ: https://www.ebike-connect.com/en/faq.html#G_09_01_EN. You can find the current software version of your Nyon on the Dashboard.
DASHBOARD
- Presentation of information such as the number of kilometers ridden in the last 30 days, the total distance covered, and the value for the best month
- Display of the kilometers traveled in the current month compared to the previous month
- Indication of the synchronization status of the activities

- Your eBike rides appear in all details
- Unsynchronized and unfinished activities are marked

Crashes on startup. Dashboard screen shows for a split second, then crash. Other than that the app is quite useful, with the exception of the Satnav function. In rural Britain it will route you down overgrown footpaths, farm tracks, private roads, and that is while choosing the fast route. I hate to think where it would send you if you chose the scenic option. I blame OpenStreetMaps. I shall be using Google's navigation in future.

Was an excellent app until upgrade carried out on 15/8/16. No longer works and crashes at startup. The developer was listening and fixed it today 16/8/16

Slow/no response from Dev team. Frustrating that you have to use the desktop version to create routes that can then be pushed to the nyon which will then show up in the saved routes or locations section. Not sure why this isn't possible from the app, seems like a no brainer to me. You can plan a route and push to nyon from this app but it doesn't get saved. Only get option to start navigation or ignore. Also for the connect and post to Facebook why not let you see what is posted and add comments?

Going to work is very efficient with Bosch e-bike. I am never late because of traffic.

syncs fine so far, however issues reviewing rides lots of lines appear on map and need to login to web interface to see full data. Hopefully will improve with time and add more functionality.

Ok the bike is insane. The nyon connection with the app works fine too. But how can I control my smartphone with nyon? There are no options and settings. I must control poweramp (music) and so on...!

...could be rainin'! The app is a bit like the Nyon itself: feels unfinished. There's good ideas, bad ones, but overall looks like released in a rush. For instance, sync often fails, and error messages like "account already registered". Let's hope for quality updates

Helpful bunch on bosch Facebook, recommended an uninstall and reinstall as kept crashing after latest updates, this has worked. The app is very handy companion to the onboard computer, keep up the updates and improvements, I have a nexus 6P.
