breadwallet - bitcoin wallet

Scam. Transfered $200 of coins to Breadwallet yesterday. They never arrived. Sending end is all correct so it's the receiver at fault. Support don't answer emails. Just a scam. Stay away.

Unsure if this app is broken or a scam. I have bitcoin sat mid transaction with no movement for some time. I will update this review when resolved Update: my query was resolved. I have moved my funds elsewhere. This does now appear to be function as a wallet should but I have lost faith

Yo. I tried to open my wallet but the app freezes. Still have some money on there. Please help.

The app instantly freezes upon opening, this is my first install of it. Uninstalled it and reinstalled, same thing happens.

Terrible. Purchased $260 btc, transferred it to BW, and sure enough they take my BTC and then lock my account. Can't access my own money. Complete scam. Avoid this terrible app at all costs.

This app did the following to me: I received $65 worth of BTC.As soon as I am notified via text mssg that my BTC arrived I went to the app on my home see and to verify .As soon as I open the app , the screen shows the following mssg :error with whatever store ",and it reverts back to pre new bread wallet mode , and all my coin is gone .I contact support , 20 hours later they tell me that a problem exists with android.That warning was never Given until I lost my scratch .DO NOT USE THIS APP.

Opened it. Set my miner address and went to log in using my pin and it failed. Went to recover my account and get an error code. Scam. Uninstalled immediately

The app set a really low transaction fee and now I've been waiting for hours for my time sensitive transaction to go through. Using mycelium from now on.

Keeps crashing, making you always have to recover your wallet

I think this is the best bitcoin wallet on the play store, there is no middle man like in all of the other wallets!

A friend recommended i use this for my wallet, after installing and adding funds I'm now unable to move $60 anywhere, just keeps posting as unverified, have uninstalled and reinstalled many times still no fix. That's why you test new wallets with low amounts still annoying to lose $60 to developer error. EDIT: Should have just read the first pages of reviews I wouldn't of had to waste my time and money XD

I can't even create a wallet. It insists on using a Google keyboard. Ok,good idea. I downloaded several from Google play (Gboard, Google handwriting), but breadwallet will not accept any of them or proceed.

Nice looking wallet but doesn't accept seed recovery phrase created in Electrum, so useless for me. Works great for seed phrases that it accepts!

Same issue here as everyone else having. Very surprised to experience it, becase it is listed on main website. Beacasu of this issue looks like ill be loosing moneycon conversion. Please advice how to get this unverified issue? Ive send founds into the exchange and now becase of this issue not sure if i can retreve them. Do u guys have a support?

Transactions show as unverified. I can't send money from my wallet. Working with support. Will update review

**update** my wallet no longer syncs....its been over an hour and it's only at 67% synched My bit coin balance at the top of the screen doesn't reflect all of the transactions in my wallet. The transaction total balance is higher than the balance indicated at the very top of my screen. It also takes forever to sync and drains my battery. Other than that the interface is simple to use.

Great concept and its really smooth when it works but it takes AGES to sync something it seems it's not able to do in the background. I have no idea why this is but it makes the app pretty inconvenient at times. Paying for stuff generally works well though and I love the idea of not trusting my BTC with a third party server. Just please do something about the sync issues.

Seemed good until bitcoin cash hard fork. Don't bother with this app. You will loose money.

Stopped syncing, reinstalls wouldnt work, bitcoin missing/stolen. Good job breadwallet. Use this app if you want to throw money away/get robbed.

STAY AWAY . You will Lose your btc. Recovering from a phrase takes hours. This wallet gave me a btc address and I sent btc to that address. The transaction shows up on blockchain but never reflected in my wallet. There is no way to access your private keys as well. STAY AWAY.

Worked, sort of. Put some money in there, then immediately afterwards the app wouldn't open, it would just crash on startup. Reinstalled, now unable to recover nor open a new wallet since the buttons will not work. Update 7/16/17: The buttons now work and I can enter my recovery phrase, but I still cannot recover since the keystore was invalidated or something.

Very slow to sync after recovering your wallet and no way of choosing tx fees so you get stuck with high ones even for low priority transactions

Was working great, now I need to recover but I'm stuck on the keyboard select menu. Downloaded gboard (Google keyboard) but can't use it in the app. Edit = typo

It works well and has a clean UI. A crash was fixed right away. My BTC showed up. (I changed my two stars back to four. I think y'all should do the same if it works for u again.)

My wallet worked fine since I got it last fall. Now it's taking days to sync. I got the update too. Very inconvenient.

Goes unresponsive too often. Syncing done but no buttons nor the side menu responds. I have the latest version.

Uninstalled. Updated and was unable to recover my wallet, lost money as a result, and nothing could be done. Disappointing.

Great: the app is great again.

Sync is insane, and can't empty wallet, don't need to worry about haxers, bread does enough to aggravate the btc experience...
