I have given out multiple copies of this book to friends and family. It is a treasure and a joy to share. Not so with this half-baked app. First, it appears to need a data connection to function. When I'm out of range of WIFI with data turned off, some pages of the book are unavailable. This implies that the book is not loaded onto the device. Hmmm. Further, this app does not maintain state, which is to say, if I close the app on, say, chapter 21, when I next open the app, it resets to chapter 1. Needs fix.

At the time of my writing this, when you download the app, every other passage in the Hua hu ching is locked. I paid 5.99 to unlock it. Still this text is invaluable in the practice of dao. Better to read half of it for free then none at all.
