NAHAS

NAHAS or Malaysia's National Hazards Alert System was developed with the concept and hope of being able to alert its users of any hazards that may or may not occur so that precautionary measures can be taken.

NAHAS reports all types of hazards that covers the road, water, aerospace and local hazards in Malaysia.
NAHAS uses data and informations that was gathered from Malaysian government websites and RSS feeds that was made publicly available. NAHAS helps to spread these informations to reach its intended users by reformatting them into mobile readable format for easier access and better exposure. NAHAS also reduces the load on the servers/websites from which these data was gathered through caching and cloud technology.
