AVX - Voice Assistant

I like the app but at times it starts beeping uncontrollably and I have no clue why. I have to force close it until I'm alone so it doesn't disturb my office co-workers.

Im not sure what to think Ive been using AVX now for about a week and really don't think it's worth the money. I have a S5. I'm asking it simple questions like the sample ones "Who is Jennifer Aniston" And it says sorry I don't understand. It's really frustrating to use and I'm thinking of going back to google now. Wish i could get my money back i rushed into buyin this one

UPDATE: Works like the drive mode I can get a phone call, or receive a phone call, send or receive text messages without having to touch the phone. And I also get reminder"s that will come up front and automatically tell me for example if I have to take medicine at 5 o'clock and I ask it to remind me to take my medicine at 5 o'clock it not will text me but it actually speaks the reminder out to me. I haven't found another one that well, do that. I can text. I can send messages to my contacts w/o touching the phone.

Works great on my Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Exhibit, HTC HD2, LG Leon, Samsung Galaxy Tab (P-1010) & Vizio vtab1008. *** Does not install on to a HTC Charm.

After the trial period ended I purchased the app at $19.99 in July and used it with minimal problems for a few months. Since early in 2015 I've had the sense that I was taken. • The developer seems to have disappeared. • There is no presence on his Google+ account. • There has been no update since January, 2015. • The project appears to be dead! Use the free version if you will, but DON'T PAY FOR THE FULL APP !!!

I have been a long time supporter of your apps and I was happy to pay for AVX Voice Assistant. I have previously downloaded and installed different SVOX voices for the AVX Voice Assistant on several different phones that I have owned over the years. I have never had any problems installing any of the SVOX voices.I have recently changed phones and I decided to download the AVX Voice Assistant from BulletProof. This time however, no matter what I try, I can not stop getting an error message that says "the voice data failed to install. Please make sure there is an active internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, please try again or contact the developer". I definitely have an active internet connection.I have have sent emails to the SVOX voices developer but they come back with a notification failure. I sent an email to AVX voice developer because I really want to continue to support the developer by using use the AVX Voice Assistant. It is a one of a kind app and I look forward to your reply.

App says "listening for 'name'", but does not respond to' name '. Also, keeps lowering volume to zero when playing music. Seriously disappointed with this app. How to get a refund?

Had an issue initially in which I fumbled around and solved it independently. App is great.

Great to have a full-time hands free BT access to my phone for directions. Text messaging email phone calls nearly anything I can think of. Love the location sensitive controls. Keep up the great work and keep adding new features... (update) there has to be a wway to get this great app and google To work together. Not that you really need Google with AVX it does everything Google can do and more with tasker. Keep up with the updated Peter you are doing a stellar job!!!

Excellent hands free app. Only downfall is AVX randomly activates itself and when you click on speak, it won't change to green to activate voice listening commands. Needs n update.

I would love to give this app five stars but im having trouble with my music skipping in and out when the wake mode feature is turned on. I love the app and after getting used to the learning curve it works great aside from that. If you get a chance peter please comment back so we can find a way to get wake mode working with my music. Thank you

This App is awesome! So many great features and a Developer that is very hands-on... from bringing us new features, responding quickly to any questions or resolving the little bugs that crop up from time to time. I don't regret a single penny- it's worth it and then some! This App is well-traveled... It is one of the first apps installed on my phone when I upgrade! Love it!

5 STARS WHEN YOU CANTACT ME This was a well built, flawless application. I praised it everywhere. It did everything just as promised. Then google stepped in and continuously sabotaged the developer with incompatible changes that it appears left Peter only to throw his hands up and walk away from the project. I paid for this application and have '0' support for what is now an application I keep hoping will be revived, I keep checking back, I have for over a year. Each time I retry the app. it just seems to lose more and more of the incredible features that once stood WAY ahead of any other application found on google play. Peter if you even read these anymore, I sure would like to open communications with you for some guidance. Thank you! 5 stars now 2 sorry...

I love the app very much, i use to have her read my twitter and facebook posts but now only google+ is working. :-( please fix.. Is there anyone having the same problems?

UPDATE: Peter where have you vanished too? I've written a time or two about about updates. I'm wondering if I have the latest version 3.33. Granted I do take a lot of medications because of my illness and this app helps me a great deal with mentioned below: Helps me remember my medications, Dr. Appointments. Etc. Again, I'm disabled & this app helps me A LOT!!!! I wish I got the updates as promised, that's the reason I got the paid version.

When AVX prompts me to download SVOX Classic voice free trial, update or purchase I get this pop up "Unable to connect. Please make sure you have an active Internet connection. If you do have an active Internet connection and the problem persist, please try again at a later time." I have now NO voice for AVX at $19.99 you'd figure AVX would offer other voice options to keep from losing customers? I filed a complaint with Google after no response from either developers through Google play store account.

Other apps are fast but cant understand some words..old app. Abandoned software last update January 2015 old old

What is going on? Didn't see an update for at least a year. Gave up?

Complete waste of £13, ask to call one of your contacts and you will still have to manually choose from a list of numbers, please remind us why we are paying for a voice assistant but still need to use our trusty old fingers to select from a numbered list, this app does not do anything special, if you need to use your voice to ask a question and not your fingers just use Google now, it's free

It's so good in the sense of functions and fact you can customise really well however it is quite slow, if it was faster it would be a definite 5 stars

Nice app but always seems to fail me at some point when I need it the most. Really does some impressive things and then again craps out on stuff that should be a piece of cake. Really gets me when it conflicts with other functions of phone. Always seem to uninstall it, but download again after awhile to see if things have changed. Try it and see how you like it. It seems to spend more time off my phone than on.

It's a great app, but recent android updates have made this app very unusable and the developer doesn't reply to emails and seems to have given up on development/fixing this app. Shame because it was very useful and I used it every day at work... Perhaps if it's updated or fixed and bugs are worked out I'll reinstate my 5 star rating, until then 2 stars, and I've got the paid for version... Sorry, would like to see it working properly again.

Yo Peter. Now having AVX running on a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + and it's blazing fast!! Still the best voice assistant of all, android and iphone included! Please keep enhancing. I hope you are energized by the many positive reviews and as a fellow programmer not affected by the unfounded negative reviews when the problem may be with Google, Android, phone or user. Anyone I show AVX to are thoroughly impressed! Signed, Happy user of AVX for 3+ years.

HTC One M8: speak button glitches and stops listening mid-sentence, does not always understand commands even when I say it exactly in the right format. The format is rigid and does not learn. When asked the weather, response is slow but accurate. When asked ' Is it cold/hot out' response is 77° no matter the actual weather. Adding recurring reminders/alarms/events is difficult. Volume varies every time the speak button is activated. Car & wake mode are very difficult to use. Want money back. Not worth $20.

UPDATE: No more developer support. I am VERY disappointed. UPDATE: Peter responded immediately to my email and helped me solve the problem! Used to be good can't use it anymore doesn't work I can't get Peter to call me back or give me an email and tell me how to fix it

Very comprehensive program but I'm marking it down due to non-existent developer support re language settings within the app constantly changing to Welsh from English (UK). This renders the app inoperable. It's also suffering like the rest of the voice control apps from Google's version 4 of Google Search, which seems to have made offline voice recognition a thing of the past. I'll give it another try when Google get their act together.

Great app. AVX asked me to rate so I'm adding that I still love this app.

I rated 4 stars because when i installed i lost control of my headset, so now it's not hands-free anymore. I will continue to try but hopefully this can be resolved. Lg optimus g pro

There is no doubt that this app is the best there is. With the high risk of fines for hands free devices not to mention the personal risk, this app eliminates all of this. My only concern is the lack of support from the developers. I hope that they see this concern and respond.

I installed this on my S6 Active and it seems to have a few bugs, now. It was amazing on my old note 3, and 4. I look forward to getting new updates and continuing to use this app!

Cool app and helpful

Expensive for an app that is very buggy with no more future improvements. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Youll probably get into an accident trying to make it work.
