Video Kiosk supports digital signage using both a full screen and a split screen layout. In the split screen layout, three areas can host standard Android App Widgets. While there are literally thousands of App Widgets available, there wasn’t a vertical, portrait view, Weather Widget that fit nicely in Widget Area B so I developer the Video Kiosk Weather Widget.
The Video Kiosk Weather Widget is designed to fit in Area-B when Video Kiosk is using digital signage mode and is displaying Widget Areas B, C, and D.
The Video Kiosk Weather Widget is powered by Yahoo and supports finding places (where in the world id), multiple layouts, and multiple weather condition icons.
Because Yahoo Weather requires the use of OAuth authentication, a Yahoo Api Key and Api Secret are required to activate the Video Kiosk Weather Widget license.
When you decide to purchase the Video Kiosk Weather Widget, first obtain your Yahoo Api Key and Api Secret and then contact me and I will setup the license server so that you can activate your purchased Video Kiosk Weather Widget licenses . If you do not have a Yahoo Api Key and Api Secret, you will not be able to activate your Video Kiosk Weather Widget licenses.
I do customize the widget so if you have many devices, and want the widget customized to better suit your brand please contact me.

Add a button to test the weather API and display the HTTP result code. Add a text box to display the results of a Place lookup HTTP request. Further improve the handling of the random 401 results returned by Yahoo's API. Add a timer to update the weather every hour. Cache the last successful weather response from Yahoo and use it if the current request fails (old weather is better than no weather).
