The goal is simple: bus and train times in two taps or less!
There's plenty of travel apps out there: journey planners, bus times, train times... some of them just work in certain cities, some of them are just plain hard to use. We couldn't find one that suited us, so we went ahead and made one - a tracker app designed by commuters, for commuters.
We've added all the little conveniences we wanted as commuters:
► Live National Rail departure boards (with a twist or two):
- See all the stations the train will call at right there in the departure board
- Start typing - we'll find your destination among all the upcoming trains and show you which ones match
- Predictive platform numbers - find out where the train will arrive before anyone else (hello Euston station!)
► Dedicated departure boards for all Underground, tram and light rail services in the country:
- London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, London Tramlink, Glasgow SPT Subway, Edinburgh Trams, Tyne & Wear Metro, Sheffield Supertram, Blackpool Trams, Manchester Metrolink, Midland Metro and Nottingham Express
- Colour coded for each line and split into directions so you can quickly find your train
► Of course, we also show all 370,000 bus stops in the UK
- Colour coded by operator (First, Stagecoach, Go-Ahead, Arriva, TFL, National Express and all the local operators)
- Live departure times where available (most cities and large towns have these)
Finally, watch your live progress - just tap on a departure (train, bus, subway, metro) and see your route on a map and when you can expect to arrive at a particular stop or station.

I rarely use the bus but when I do, they either leave 5 mins early or too late. There are 2 x timetables created for where I live which contradict each other, so this app is a real bonus. Thanks to the dev team for their efforts in putting it together.

Load of crap stood for 6 mins tracking my bus and according to the app the bus I was waiting for drove straight past me and got to my destination before I even got on the bus! Deleted just a waste of space

What would make it better than the many similar apps out there would be (i) on the Live Progress page, show the current location of the bus on the map (like the iPhone version) (ii) also on the Live Progress page, tapping on a bus stop should go to the arrivals for that stop.

If you are looking to find out arrival times and bus stop locations for cardiff, I would recommend this app over cardiffs own as theirs just does not work.

So far, I've had this installed for 10 minutes and it's already easily the best app of its kind I've used. It even tracks the small airport shuttle for the hotel I work at! Brilliant!

Nearly all train journeys don't have live progress, just a message to say not available, but the progress is available in other apps like Fasteroute. Fix that and I'd buy the full version.

This is just the Trackr app hiding under a different name. When you upload it, it is TRACKR, not UK Bus & Train times. Very misleading. I deleted TRACKR long ago, as there are better apps imo, plus it drains the battery.

Does not have all stops listed for bus routes. Needs sorting. Plus when I click on a favourite stop. It has no info so is useless.

Edit - thanks for quick fix, now back to 5* app! Had been a fantastic app, but suddenly broken and just produced error saying 'We can't find any upcoming departures'. Seems to affect all journeys and modes of travel. Have tried uninstall and reinstall, but same problem. Please fix and would be 5 stars.

No bus times given for a simple route, ridiculously small map for such a large tablet with large swathe of wasted space underneath. No menu symbol '...' Meant I could not add favourite places. Just seems poor and untested.

Huddersfield bus station is completely missing on this app no stops show. Be nice to search for actual routes in future updates like some competing apps. It's a good app though I will be keen to see what comes next

To summarise , the app is amazing , the ability to check transport times based on location is a God send when in unfamiliar territory. The UI is modern, clean and intuitive . I should note in still using the free version however it comes with a week if full edition . my only request would be that when displaying train times it let's you know that it's late but I can't seem to find where it says the new arrival time . other than that the app is pretty much perfect and I couldn't recommend it any more !

Tried a few transit apps and none of them felt quite as intuitive and comfortable as this one! The live progress scanner is a very welcome implementation, too! ☺ it loads up quickly, no awkward controls, I just can’t fault it, there are other good transport apps but this is my favourite, especially with the saved routes, such a helpful feature! Live progress usually doesn’t work for me however that must be because I live in a small town, can’t fault the app for that!
