"Top 15 Mobile & Tablet Police Apps" - CriminalJusticePursuit
10-21 (radio code for "make a phone call") is a Police App for making free* calls to citizens that GET ANSWERED. Calls are made from local (not blocked) numbers without revealing your personal number. Stop getting sent to voicemail!
For example, if you call a citizen in Miami area code (305), they will receive an incoming call from a local (305) number, regardless of where you are. They are more likely to answer that call on your first try.
If the citizen calls back, rather than bugging you off-duty, they will be prompted to "Press 1 to Request a Call Back" (via Push Notification) or "Press 0 to Reach a Dispatcher" (connects to a non-emergency number that you provide).
When citizens request a call back, you receive a Push Notification on your phone rather than a phone call. At your convenience, simply tap the notification to initiate a call back out to the citizen.
*Calls are made over a VoIP data connection and do not use your cellular minutes. While the data used is minimal, data usage fees from your provider may apply.
Update: Android 6.0 Marshmallow Users - Permissions Issue FIXED in Latest Version
Need law enforcement email to use.
Great app. Works well if you have ok coverage. Would like to see a recorded feature...
Very useful but latest version keeps dropping calls after about 1 minute.

Excellent app. No issues
Signed up over two weeks ago, still haven't been approved. The app is terrible in that you cannot contact them while they do their "occular patdown"
Just make the app keep screen awake and you'll have a perfect app. Keeps connection but Mutes the call .....have to keep on speaker phone and keep touching screen to maintain the call. Good job though....great app and idea
Great application. Does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Great app. Excellent job.
This app has been a life savor. I work for 3 different departments and none of them have their own squad phones. This works great bc it gives people a number to call back to reach me but it's not my personal cell. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I'm using the app, the screen doesn't darken like it would when using the regular phone app. So about half the time my cheek has opened up a number of apps during my phone call that I'm unaware of.
Great app which I find very very useful when away from the office. I have had some issues disconnecting calls as the screen becomes unresponsive when trying to press the "end call" button. This may just be due to connectivity issues and a poor data signal on my end. Extra props for keeping it free- thank you!
There has been a few times where you make a call and the other person cannot hear you at all! So back to the basics. Other than that it is a great tool!
This app works perfectly, and I use it everyday. I wish Callyo would I put out more apps for everyone to use. Thank you again Callyo.
Love it, works great and I use it all the time
Great app, use it a lot at work.
This is the best app I have on my phone I use it everyday at work. Its so useful normally i would call blocked. With this all i almost always get an answer when I called people.
When I put my password it, the app crashes every single time. Samsung s7 edge.
How long does it take to approve an acc?
A 5* app... until it stopped connecting. Now, every time I use it since the update it says "Dialing... Still Trying... Hanging up (call failed to connect)". Doesn't matter if I'm on WiFi or LTE. I've signed out, reinstalled, cleared cache, etc. Just doesn't work any time or for any number. Very disappointing!
Download and installed app but never receive the initial email to my work account so can't even give this a try. Tried to resend the email multiple times.
Works great but some calls are broken and hard for the civilian to hear me.
Works great. I see some people didn't get email. Check your junk mail.
Everytime I make a call the citizen has a very difficult time understanding me because of echoing.
Use this all the time to call citizens. Love how it alerts me when they try to call me back. Great app
This is genius. It does what it says it does and is a must have for all cops.
Cant even get the initial email to set up my account, any ideas?
Chief of Police
Have only used the app a few times and so far it has been a great tool. The only downfall I have found so far is that when a citizen calls and uses the push notifications. I may be missing something but if you contact multiple citizens and they call the number back you don't know who you need to respond to. Is there a way they can add their name in the notification you receive so you are not calling someone blind and trying to remember what the original contact was about.
I love this app. Simple interface and serves a great purpose. Only issue I have is when I make phone calls it won't go through my Bluetooth earpiece. I believe thats because I have my earpiece set to only phone calls and not phone audio like music. The app must be considered phone audio. Would love to see this fixed!
Could be user error, but everyone I call using it says the sound echoes and it's hard to hear on their end. Also it uses a local number to the person I'm calling rather than my desk number which I would much prefer.
Being a supervisor of a patrol squad means constantly being asked to call someone about something. Remembering to block my personal number or running into people who won't allow blocked numbers was a pain. Then this app came along! A great solution to a common problem!
This app is very handy and convenient. People are more likely to answer the phone when using a real number instead of blocking my number using *67. For some reason when I place a call, I do not hear it ring or hear them pick up and talk unless I press speakerphone and use that. It is either an app problem or a setting. Please help.
I'm still not getting the push notifications in a timely manner. Request to call back came in at 1824 but the push notification didn't come through til 0305. Reported this same problem in February.
Now i dont have to waste time blocking my own px.
works pretty good. sometimes hard for person to hear on other end.
