I own 3 SVOX TTS voices, all IVONA Beta's and have used a bunch of other free/paid Android TTS apps. First, it has 24 hour phone home DRM. This means my WI-FI only tablet has to connect once a day to activate this PAID app or it does not work. Useless for those of us who do not hang around WI-FI all day. Second, they did not bother creating a "TTS Engine" app and have all paid voices get pooled under that app, meaning each TTS voice will show up as a separate TTS engine in settings unlike every other TTS app (SVOX, IVONA, Etc.) App icons vary from poor photos to drawings; looks unprofessional.
