ChargeTrip - Electric Vehicle for Android
Useless in Canada.. No charger listed.
Started off badly. Social logins using my Google account don't work, I just get an error message. Poor showing. Back button is broken: it keeps taking me out of the app instead of back to the previous screen. Looks like a poor port of an iOS app. Has a completely unrealistic idea of the range of a 22kWh BMW i3 (defaults to 'current range 118 miles when 80 in summer would be nearer)
Excellent start. Some degree of intelligent planning of stops, exactly what plugshare is missing.
No way to change the route suggestions - the route given followed a toll road and suggested a charger I know isn't available, making the entire suggestion useless. No visibility on prediced % charge at each stage, or to set parameters for minimums required. No way to change the assumed miles/kwh (and this isn't displayed either) - asking for heating on/off won't cut it.. driving style/speed makes a *massive* difference. Why try to invent your own UI instead of using the google guidelines? It ends up clunky to use as controls don't do what you'd expect, and is actually harder to write. Another 'me too' route planning app which is years behind the established apps.
No option for Chevy Bolt

I'm sure this App has great potential. However it does not support the Chevrolet Volt. Once, supported I will review App again and give a more objective review.
